Elamor- Now where did you come across the 7000 steps in Skyrim from? I think that I would like to climb them as well but I think that might take a while to accomplish.

I think it would help out the combat myself. Even if it's not changing the mechanics or anything, at least it's visually showing some damage getting done.

I'd be running around doing this if we had dismemberment. :D

Come back here, you cowardly dragon! That was a flesh wound.

Dismemberment shouldn't be that hard to add, considering in Fallout 3 it was possible with melee weapons.

I usually put a lot of points into melee to get the Super Slam perk and it was kind of funny to see dismemberments from using a golf club, for example, or the rolling pin.

For what it's worth, I consider Altmer to be the worst class in the Elder Scrolls.

For what it's worth, I consider them to be the best (in Oblivion at least, not so much in Morrowind), but I tend to play heavily magic orientated characters.

I'd like to add that it is totally possible that we'll only see decapitation etc in finishing moves.

Because it was only $2.99, I've decided to give more than pics, but NEW HD GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE.
(wait until 0:50 seconds for the new footage to start.)

For more stuff, I shall require a Darth Vader cake. ^_^

ESRB rating summary

This is a fantasy role-playing game in which players assume the role of Dovakin, a prophesied figure with the power to combat dragons in the fictional world of Skyrim. As players traverse through mountainous open-world environments, they complete missions and quests that impact the eventual fate of their character.

Players use swords, bows and arrows, axes, and magic attacks (e.g., fireballs, ice shards) to kill various enemies (e.g., wolves, dragons, human bandits and soldiers). As players engage in melee-style combat, some sequences are highlighted by slow-motion effects, particularly for decapitations. Large blood-splatter effects also occur during combat, and some environments are stained with blood or body parts (e.g., heads impaled on spikes). Some sequences allow players to injure/kill nonadversary characters, including prisoners chained to a wall; they scream in pain amid splashes of blood or fire.

As the game progresses, the dialogue and on-screen text contains references to sexual material (e.g., “. . . all the ****s your heart, or any other organ, desires,” “She . . . raped the men as cruelly as Bal had ravished her,” and “Remember when you thought [he] was . . . intent on making you . . . into his personal sex slave?”).

Alcohol such as wine, mead, and ale can be purchased and consumed by players' character throughout the game; and in one sequence, players can engage in a drinking contest with another character, which eventually results in slurred speech (e.g., “One more. No problemsh . . . Thash grape!”).

Sounds like some dark heroic fantasy.

The gory environments, moral choices involving prisoners, etc.,and the drinking game sounds interesting. The scene where you get yelled at by Triss/Shani when you are drunk was my favorite part of The Witcher.

Now I'm wondering who "Bal" is and who this woman who goes around raping men might be?

Bal is Molag Bal

The woman is probably Lamae, the first vampire, a Nord woman raped by Molag Bal.

Oh my goodness, Molag Bal, that's great - he must be the one that Matt Carofano was talking about.

Perhaps we will get to visit Coldharbor in this game, Todd hinted that some quests involve planes of Oblivion in his interview with Gameswelt TV.

"The book The Doors of Oblivion says that his plane resembles a copy of Nirn, including the Imperial Palace, but all desecrated and ruined. The ground is sludge, the sky is on fire, and the air is freezing. The Daedroths are typically counted among his servants."

The description of Coldharbour sounds fantastic. It would be really cool to visit a sort of alternate universe version of the Imperial City, all desecrated and ruined.

Not necessarily, it might just be that the Opusculus Lamae Bal ta Mezzamortie text (from the Vile Lair plug-in) is making a comeback, but yeah a Molag Bal/Daedric Prince questline would be great.
