Well getting sidetracked closing gates and doing other quests meant it took much longer then expected. I finished the main quest after 220, but I still have more things to do and finish off the Shivering Isles.

I really hope the Skyrim does some high fantasy DLC like Shivering Isles was

Todd stated that he wants bigger DLCs like the Shivering Isles or Knights of the Nine, so hopefully we don't get more horse armor lol.

I sure hope that you are right. Knights of Nine was great but will have to admit that I'm going through Shivering Isles currently and I like it better than KofN to be honest with you there. Currently on the SI working on getting a new Gate Keeper made.

CaptainCrash-Holly Crap I've not even started on the main quests yetImage IPB Looks like I've still got a long ways to go before I finish Oblivion for the first time.<LOL> I did get most of the Misc. querst done though as well as for all the Faction quests and KofN And I'm about 1/3 or so done with S.I. Not sure how many hours I've got in it so far. I know it's quite a bit.

I love making my own gatekeeper. I hope Skyrim has some sort of feature like that, it was fun building things to your specifications.

I couldn't agree with you more it's my first time so I'm just finding out what it's all about. Can't believe how big of a DLC S.I actually is. It's even bigger than KofN. I did experiment with adding achments to things. Made one thing so far Took a pair of Deadric greaves and added fortify strength to them.<G> Will have to admit that the Daedric Armor is pretty cool looking.Image IPB A friend of mine said the Madness armor set that you can make is better looking though and it's got some great enchantments if you get the matrix's. So far I've got about  5 of the madness matrix's. If I remember correctly I need 5 more Matrix's or so to make everything. Don't know what it's going to cost me as I'm waiting till I've got them all than I'm going to have it all done at once.

Do the crystal chests respond or do you know?

Crystal chests only open if you have a heart of order for a key. Or maybe it was a shard of order, I can't remember.

Well yes It is a hear of the order which opens them, but that wasn't waht I asked. I was wondering if they respond?

He's asking if they respawn. In other words, is it safe to store items inside.

I'm not quite sure about the crystal chests, as I didn't get very far in the Shivering Isles quests.

Here is what the UESP wiki says:

You can check for safe containers by doing the following:
- Save your game (optional).
- Empty out all the containers you want to check or add a specific disposable item like an ingredient to each container.
- Wait for 73 hours (3 days plus one hour).
- Re-check the containers. Those that are empty or still contain your disposable item are most likely safe.
- For added certainty, repeat the previous two steps several times.
- Re-load your saved game (optional).

On the PC, you can also check if any given container is safe by opening the Construction Set and searching for containers with their Respawn flag unchecked.

Naughty your right I did me respawn sorry about that was trying to do to many things at one time when I replied. Will have to give it a shot and see what happens with them. I appreciate the idea and will have to test it out for myself. You really need to get the S.I one going its great.

Dunno if this has been posted but reports of some comical bugs that may explain why guards know about crimes with no witnesses...

"Just finished reading the PC GAMER UK magazine and found a funny bug they talked about and i thought i should share it with you.

When they started talking about the radiant story system todd said they had a bug lately that they realised that chickens were reporting crimes... I found that very funny..

They started doing crime sprees so then they were like "Why are we getting caught? " "Ohhh, the chickens are reporting the crimes!".

And they had a other bug lately and it's about marriage.... You can get married in the game as we know, and Todd had deciced to marry this one woman who was his friend. And he forgot that he had done this Radiant quest for this other guy, who it turns out had liked her. When you get married you can decide where you live. If you own a house, your spouse can move in with you , or you can move in with them. Todd had owned a house in the city of Whiterun, so he told her 'OK we should live there'. He went there, and she hadn't arrived yet, so he decided to wait so he slept and waited.... And then she showed up! He turend around and as she was standing there, he saw another door open to another bedroom and the other guy WALKED OUT! Then Todd had to call the designer over and said : "This guy! I forgot i did that thing!" and he said "Oh yeah, he's going to visit her every day...." if you make him like her , he then visits her every day, and doesn't care if she's married... It's my wedding night , guy walks out of MY BEDROOM.

Thought those were funny to share with you guys."

The chickens amused me. I hope they don't fix these, they sound hilarious.

Maybe he plays his ghost?

Or he got bitten by a vampire in Oblivion (or reanimated by a Necromancer)?

Perhaps he will be one of the "talking dragons" Todd Howard mentioned.

Intriguing....I just finished GoW3 (*tear*), and have logged over 1000 hours on Oblivion.  Other than the Mark of the Assassin DLC for DA2 due in Oct (which I will play that day!), I've been waiting for a LONG time for Skyrim, and can't wait!

So far all the vids etc. look amazing.  I'm glad Bethesda took their time with it.

It would be a weird twist if the giant Akatosh statue in the Imperial City came to life lol.

I... never noticed that Sean Bean was Martin Septim. That would explain a lot, I think.

Apparently another sort of bug they encountered was that NPCs were using Necromancy spells to resurrect dead chickens so they could harvest their eggs.
