sooooo Sean Bean returns as Martin Septim?

I'd like to see Sean Bean return in any capacity, even if not as Martin Septim.

I'd be very, very happy if Sean Bean voiced a marriageable NPC. Maybe a Nord with a greatsword and a liking for wolves.

He voice acts for a NPC mudcrab that is romancible for the PC. It's a mudcrab...with the soul of a dragon!Image IPB

I want a pet mudcrab. Soooooo badly.

The College of Winterhold sent 10 mages on an investigation to discover a way to tame mudcrabs.

Only 2 1/2 made it back...:(

LMFAO!!!! Literally. Chunky, I spit my soda all over my desk :P

My work is complete.

Gamer Beware! UNCONFIRMED! POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

Skyrim XBox 360 Achievements

It's odd how similar the icons are to DA2's style.

I was thinking the same thing to be honest with you. I'm surprised that since they have the Achievements for the 360 they don't have them for the pc as well like DAO and DA2 did.

I am filled with this inexplicable urge to point out that winter is coming, and I don't know why.

LOL! Well since it comes once a year whether we want it to or not we've got no choice. Personally I don't care much for winter due to the fact that I've got to shovel my car out. Winter isn't any fun at all. Guess thats what I get for living on the East coast of the  US.

The list of achievements for Skyrim was leaked then confirmed by Bethesda. Check out the Game Rant site for more info.

I'm sure we'll get PC achievements through Steam.

This. Does Skyrim require Steamworks, btw?

Oh and people, what kind of character are you going to start off with? Will you roleplay (and if so, to what extent)?
Just interested in what you people will do.

I'm personally going after hunter/thief/assassin type character, who will kill innocents and steal if it pays off. Planning on roleplaying through the whole thing! :D

While it may be impossible to properly roleplay due to forced combat and the removal of Mysticism, I've decided to try out a Khajiit Psijic Order Initiate as my first character. See whether Skyrim will allow me to roleplay it.

I've been doing that for the last two months. No one listens, they just look at me all funny and question why I just said that in a thick Sheffield accent.

*Minor Achievement Spoiler*

Eugh Achievement for getting married. Cheap and nasty.

I regret having a quick peek at that list, I saw one thing that made me go hhmmmm. I'd rather have been surprised by it.

I like the list. At least there's achievements for doing stuff in the game and not just "advance this far in so and so" like Oblivion.

This looks like a nice combination of achievements from Dragon Age and Fable. I approve.

Im reluctant to look due to story achievements that may be listed.  Normally these will be listed as "secret" as not to let you know.  I dont think the website has done this.

However can someone list "casual" type achievements.  Such as upgrade illiusion to lvl 50, or kill 10 chickens. Or whatever they are. Stuff that isnt quest related basically.  I can then keep my eye out while im wandering the vast landscape before me

:)

I didn't see any "Luke is Darth Vader's son" spoilers. Take a peek!

Thanks for posting this one. The achievements relating to the Stormcloaks and the Imperial Legion make it sound very much like we influence the outcome of the civil war. Love it!

No none of the spoilers were massive that I saw. I didn't read them all, theres just one that made me thing "Hhmmm that could be main quest related and rather important." It might not be but it sounded like it might be cool to not be sitting the whole game wondering how it fits in.

Thanks, your right, nothing that bad there  :)

Really liking the sound of  "Oblivion Walker (30g)"   Going to be great to deal with the Daedric Princes again and the variety of quests they give.  Also the fact it virtually confirms we will be transported in the Oblivion Rhealms again is great to hear.  Although I knew we would already, its just nice to see in text.  :)

It was the "Hero of Skyrim" one that bothered me.

At a glance it seems that getting 1000 gamerscore won't be overly annoying. It will take a commitment but not too much stupid grinding or too much being forced to play the game in certain ways. Looks a good balance.

That seemed to be the best one - at least it suggests we play a large role in the conflict between the Stormcloaks and Imperial Legion, potentially influencing the outcome of the civil war.

Or did you mean it bothered you because it was spoilerry?

Bothered me because it seemed like it might be spoilery. I agree with you it does sound pretty cool otherwise.

Well in skyrim you will be able to wield a weapons and magic at the sametime, the economy can be destroyed by the player in some places if your not careful.
Quests and their givers will be under a new system so if the quest giver dies his wife, son, daughter will let you continue the quest. So they shouldn't break.
The fights with the dragons is non-scripted, and you will see some nice stealth kill animations as well.
Better character generators unlike the flat faces from Oblivion.
I cant wait for it to be released will be playing it for a long time espeicially with the healthly mod community when the toolset is released.

Except for the Hero of Skyrim and such, I don't think the list was particulary spoilery.

Eh.

Quite glad of the "cast iron confirmation", haha, that the Dark Brotherhood isn't going anywhere. I do like a nice DB storyline with my evening cup of tea.

Indeed it was, although I actually quite enjoyed the fact that it worked both ways. :)

@Redneck1st - I'm blessed enough to live somewhere that becomes like a lethal ice maze in the winter, I'd be very glad I have a home office if it weren't for the price of oil, coal and wood :)

I think this winter would be an ideal time to read them again.

As far as winter goes will have to admit that it's not my favorite time of the year to be honest with you there. Hate having to shovel the snow and digging my car out when I have to go somewhere. Image IPB
