Good news! Pete Hines confirmed that Skyrim will not have a CEG executable file.

What does that mean and why is it good news?

It means a Skyrim Script Extender will be possible. In other words, it will be possible for modders to create very ambitious Skyrim mods along the lines of mods for Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas that use OBSE, FOSE and NVSE.

Hopefully the animation skeleton isn't crap this time, Oblivion's was bad and Fallout's was almost as bad. Nothing bugs me more than devs being so lazy that they give the female characters the same physical dimensions as the male characters.
