I assume these are funbox pics, so to be honest the graphics don't blow me away. The art design, however, is leagues ahead of any other Bethesda game. So on that note I'm impressed.

Thats the thing for me really- I'm loving the art direction in Skyrim and how you can very clearly see how certain things are tied to various things already established in the ES games, with just some tweaking. And while I haven't been blown away too much on the technical side of things, since Bethesda is releasing the mod tools for the PC, if its anything like Oblivion, the game will look great on a technical level simply based on mods.

The art direction is pretty damn good, it's exactly who I like fantasy not overly fantastical looking. That was one of the things that bugged the hell out of me in Divinity 2, everything thing was so stupidly fantastical it just wore on me. I actually quit that game because I didn't like the way stuff looked . . .

I don't get the trend of having fantasy armor be really pointy with big stupid looking shoulder spikes.

According to the interview at which I first saw this image it's a bow with a spell effect (lightning damage?) on it.

I like my idea more as that is not a very good looking bear.
