But Oblivion was also looking good and was a borefest. A pretty one, but still a borefest.
This being said, I don't know... I have a good feeling about Skyrim.

Better face morphing would be nice, Improved conversations, Possibly a Romance.
I don't remember was there a good/evil thing, like if you killed some villager did the other villagers start to hate/fear you or did the bouncers just come after you?
I so wanted to romance Martin. Wouldn't that have been dramatic!

The One They Fear!
*epic choir*
Right, I guess I should have payed more attention to the trailer.
Anyway I forgot to add the most important thing to my list and the one thing this game cant do without, Epic Beards.
Doesn't it mean "Dragon born?"

Martin was just as boring as any other character in Oblivion...besides mine of course.

whether bethesda bothers to improve the emotional responses in the game is completely irrelevant to me,
game characters are years and years and years away from being anything but cartoons,
give me a good face and a good world to kill in, and we've got a winner,
oblivion is the best game i've ever played, it's VERY beautiful and it's VERY accommodating,
skyrim looks like it's stayed true to those standards, and i can't wait to get my hands on it.

Yeah. They're boring. They're so overused and one-dimensional that a game would be more exciting if it advertised itself as having huge tracts of land.Rockworm503 wrote...
People don't like dragons?
Big epic mythical creatures that are just awesome and we're gonna get too kill them and you're gonna complain about that?
Their overused for a reason. People love them. Its like complaining about Jurrasic park for having dinosaurs in it. Sometimes the subject matter demands such things.
Whatever enjoy your farming simulator or whatever gets you excited

No, the subject matter doesn't demand such things. The game being fantasy references dragons...a lot. This game probably is the first of the series to actually contain them. (No, Martin does not count.) Jurassic Park demands dinosaurs because its premise is a scientific possibility. What makes it impossible that Skyrim can exist without dragons? It's a simple matter that devs wanted them in, the idea was introduced via a teaser, and we're all stuck with it.

People also love Pop Idol, though I find its inexplicable popularity isn't really a compelling reason for me to like it too. Though I suppose I could have simply said "Jurassic Park" instead of "Pop Idol" since that was also an exercise in excruciating tedium; though I also find dinosaurs uninspiring, I doubt their removal would salvage the film somehow. Playing Farmville or whatever would indeed most likely be more entertaining, even though it'd likely cause brain death within 20 minutes.Rockworm503 wrote...

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to Skyrim in spite of any tired dragon references, in the same way that I said I enjoyed DA:O and Ego Draconis which endured in spite of the inclusion dragons rather than because of them. My main fear isn't dragons but gremlins: I just hope it crashes less often than Oblivion. And Fallout 3. And Morrowind. And Daggerfall. And... you get the idea.
