Is there some benefit to doing a redonkulous amount of side stuff before progressing in the main quest, or is it better to disperse evenly, or even do the main quest first and all the side stuff afterwards?

Completing side quests may give you loot and companions that help with defeating the dragons in the main quest, so I would complete a lot of side quests before going far into the main quest.

Twas my plan in the first place, so its good to hear this is a successful strategy.

Ooookay, health. Regenerative, non regenerative, how does it work.

I know there's food out there you can buy and hunt, cooking of such foods giving a better payout in reward.

I paced the main quest in IV and it ended up being a great strategy. I would do a main questline quest every 20-25 hours or so....along with what you mentioned, Chunky, it helped me stay immersed into what was going on in the world and reassuring everybody I was handling it.

Magicka was regenerative for me in IV but I was a Battlemage. I heard health is regenerative but its very, very slow....not sure exactly how I feel about that quite honestly....stamina is regenerative, too....but all three can be regenerated much quickly with spells, spell scrolls or potions.

They said they wanna try to encorporate mods into the Console versions. Let's hope they work it out.

Heh, I just want background stuff, things that happened previously, stories behind the races and such. Lore, but not specific in game spoilers. Little things like, "Oh, there's a dog as a companion" not that bad. Little things like that tidbit you threw, also not that bad. I just want to be clear.

As for the big bad, that was obvious.

We Bosmer players don't have that problem. We just mind trick the horses to follow us away from the stable and get on. No one sees, no one cares >

Do you guys think it's worth it to get the Collector's edition? I can't remember if it gives you anything.

The collector's is $150 and you get a dragon statue, a making of thing, and the preorder map. And maybe a book. I say it's not worth it.
