Ah yes, more questions.
Swimming. Possible?
More than that, in fact. It has been confirmed that there's places to explore underwater. One of the guys that Demo-ed the game reported finding a locked door with an ominous rune on it.... underwater. He didn't have time to explore further. But *I* certainly will the moment I get my hands on this game.
I'm looking forward to exploring underwater as well. Hopefully there will be a good water breathing item like the Fen gleam in Oblivion.
LPPrince as for the spell or potion it depends on which one it is. I know in Oblivion there are a few different ones of each. Now also in Oblivon there are items that you can find that will allow you to breathe underwater as long as the item is equiped.

And I imagine, soon to be dead.LPPrince wrote...
Any screenshots of the game I need to be aware of?
I'm just gonna repost the bow pic for my own good.
Mean bear is mean.
By the way, has anyone heard anything official about that bow? Is it an actual bow you can find? or is it Conjuration magic?

It's almost definetly a summoned weapon. I can't imagine opening up a box or some **** and finding a random bow made of blue flames.Yrkoon wrote...

Maybe glass stuff just looks really cool in this game.
You know, one thing that gets me-
Lets say it IS magic(err, magicka?).
Why the hell would you physically pull the string back, or physically nock the arrow, when you could likely do that with magic...ka too?

That's probably a technical question. From the point of view of a developer, why create a seperate animation, when you can just use the standard one. Especially since the chances are that the Conjuror summoned a bow so that he could use it as an archer would.LPPrince wrote...

I was referring to in-universe, lawl.
Anyway, my questions keep this thread alive and breathing, so MORE QUESTIONS-
What kinds of things can you buy in stores?

OK, let's look at that from the other (imo more logical) perspective. You're making a spell that does a bow and arrows, a mechanism everybody understands.
You've worked through it, and now you have a bow and arrows that are made out of blue flames and do stuff to the stuff you shoot with arrows made of stuff, like I don't know, hurting.
Now, would you spend any time on changing the mechanism so it works like... well, not a bow? Or would you go down the mage pub and show off your new spell?

Yep. I was talking about the next monday lol. I need a good 4 days to play.
Day 1: Character Creation for about an hour, plus a little exploring and discovering things around beginning area.
Day 2: Start a few side quests, get a companion, explore areas far away like Solitude. Investigate mudcrabs.
Day 3: Begin Main Quest, join the Empire and do some quests, explore a mountain or two.
Day 4: Join a major faction like the College of Winterhold and more exploring.
Day 5: Back to college.
