Ah. Understandable then...sort of. I figured most open world games had day and night cycles.LPPrince wrote...

Niiiiice.
Alright, is there a day/night system?
Since I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before, yes.

Am I the only one who picks non-fantasy names for their characters in games? Seriously I'm either Thomas for my male characters, pretty much all of them. Or some video game character from another game for my female characters, I must just be awful with names.
I'll likely give him a non-fantasy name, but a name that isn't really a name.
Like Shadow, for example. Or my title of Prince.

I have a friend that calls all his characters Grief and names his enchanted items "_____ of varying levels of sadness." That **** tickles me to no end, it is too ridiculous.LPPrince wrote...

Edit: I recall "Armor of Sorrow" "Boots of Crushing" "Gauntlets of Grief" "Helm of Sadness"

In ME1, I stuck with the name John.
In DAO, I went with Prince.
In DA2, I went with Alexandria.
I imagine in Skyrim I'll go with Shadow. Why not. If I think of something else I might use that.

As for Shadow, its easy to remember, dark, and different enough to make sense in a fantasy setting.
So for now, Shadow it is. Shadow the Imperial.

And if I did, it'd be with the Golden Retriever named Shadow in Homeward Bound(90's movie for those who don't know it).

Never was a fan of FF so I don't associate the name Shadow with anything.

That was my favorite movie as a kid. I loved Chance and Sassy. I now think Shadow is awesome.
Sidenote: Oh god I am so tempted to name my characters after Milo and Otis now, loved that movie as a kid too.

The marital unit likes argonians because of the water breathing and poison/ disease resistance.LPPrince wrote...
I asked my girlfriend about what the hell makes Argonians so popular.
She said because they look a hell of a lot cooler than before.
I plan to play a burly male Nord first. I'll name him Hrothgar or Eirik or something appropriate.

Race never mattered in any Elder Scrolls game before, save for a few flavour reactions from NPCs ("lulz, Nerevar came back as an Argonian", etc.)

And I'll be playing a buxom blonde. Her name will be freya...and she'll be glorious.

Is it true you'll be able to increase chest size of the females? I heard a rumor and I won't believe it til I see it, but I am curious.

The Redguard female looks better this time, so it's a toss up between that and Dark Elf.

I don't know if you can affect bust size, but I'm pretty sure there's a body slider.

Well wait an hour after release and im sure a mod will be available for it
But no not directly. You can increase the "weight" of your character to be light or heavy. Of course to keep proportional the bust is bound to increase or decrease. Thats the extent of it really.
