I'd like to see one of the new dungeon booby-traps in action. Just one. I also am curious to see just brief footage of looting and Enchanting. And of The Reach.

I'm fairly certain Steam was around at the time Oblivion came out. Not sure about Morrowind.Redneck1st wrote...
Now as for Steam it sounds like a pain in the rear end having to set up an account with them After all I've got enough accounts and Passwords that I've got to remember and now they want me to have to remember another one just to play one game. What in the world possesed Bethesda to go with Steam any way? After all I didn't have to do that with Oblivion and I doubt that I've got to do it with Morrowind. Or are those two games before Steam's time?

But personally, I *love* steam. IMO, it just may be the greatest invention in the gaming industry in the last decade. And if Bethesda wants to use steam activation as their DRM, then kudos to them. They took the *cool* route.
Anyway, to answer your gripes. It's not a "pain in the rear". Registering an account with Steam is just like registering an account right here on BSN or on EA (which you have to do for your Bioware games) You give them your username, password, and email address and that's it. You got an account. And you only need to "remember" your password *once*... during activation when you first install the game. You don't need to Log on to Steam every time you play.
But you wanna know the *really* good thing about this? No hassle patching of the game. All patches and updates to the game are automatically downloaded and installed on your computer whenever you start up the game.

Well now will have to admit that as for udating of the game it sounds like it would be a great idea. But the fact of having to memorize another pw is what tans my hide.<LOL> Well I guess when I get the game I'll have to go along with the program and join steam. I just hope that they don't flood me with junk emails I get enough of them already. Now if steam would allow me to purchase a few of the DLCs for which I want to buy without having to buy Oblivion all over again that wouldn't be bad.

Thanks for sharing all the great pics. I so hope that 11/11 gets here soon. I so want to play it.
Cmessaz/RPGamer13- Will have to admit that I like the fact that Steam remembers your password for you that sure helps out allot. Especially when we've got so many to remember as it is now.<G> Also glad to hear that Steam don't flood you with junkmail. What does steam do dump everything into one folder no matter how many games you buy from them? I wouldn't like that there at all.

Hey don't worry about it. It looks like a Program Files sub-folder inside Steam folder. Steam has only one negative fact for me and that is about achievements. Some games have troubles about getting the achievement at the right time.

I thought that the game achievements were only for the console games. Except for DA which has the for the c as well. Well yes as long as you don't buy for example DA1 DA2, Skyrim, and Oblivion and they put them all in the same exact subfolder. That there could get ugly.
