Thanks for sharing all the great pics. I so hope that 11/11 gets here soon. I so want to play it.
Cmessaz/RPGamer13- Will have to admit that I like the fact that Steam remembers your password for you that sure helps out allot. Especially when we've got so many to remember as it is now.<G> Also glad to hear that Steam don't flood you with junkmail. What does steam do dump everything into one folder no matter how many games you buy from them? I wouldn't like that there at all.
Don't worry about any of that stuff. The only real downside to Steam is the patching system. If the game updates and you can't play...well, I used to weep for Civilization 5, but now it works. And I guess the region locking can be an issue too. And sometimes I've gone for months without being able to download a game for whatever reason.

No, what he meant to say was that instead of (for example):
C:/Program Files (x86) / Bioware / MassEffect
C:/Program Files (x86) / Bethesda / Oblivion
the individual folders for each game are located in:
C:/Program Files (x86) / Steam / Common / Steamapps / MassEffect
C:/Program Files (x86) / Steam / Common / Steamapps / Oblivion
As for automatic updates, you can also set any of your games to not update automatically, if you prefer to wait to read about new patches before deciding whether you want to update or not.

Right. But if you need to reinstall your game, it will update automatically, so it's still an issue then.

Man, everytime I read this kind of stuff, I want to get Skyrim really badly. But I was never able to get into Morrowind or Oblivion because I hated the combat. I really need to find a way to make this game work for me. I so hope a V.A.T.S. mod is doable.

Whenever I can summon a dragon, I'm going to go up to one of those bonfires the giants make and call it in. I also can't wait to explore the depths of the waters. Not sure if I'm going to have many companions at all following me, maybe here and there.

Nice. Mehrune's Razor was my one of my favorite weapons, after Sufferthorn. I probably won't use it, burning things with my mind and all that, but having a handy blade is nice. What I liked the most was the College of Winterhold part, though. It was very odd that you could be Archmage without casting a single spell in Oblivion.
I've read a review talking about reanimating corpses of warriors and wolves, and for some reason this made Conjuration very alluring. I wasn't planning to use it until now.

What exactly have you heard about the College of Winterhold? I've been kind of in the dark on Skyrim.

Also, is it true that greaves and cuirasses have been combined into a single "suit" of armor?
Yes, that's correct.

Nothing, really. I was assuming it was Skyrim's Mage's Guild, and this confirms it, but that's all.

It is amazing. I'm certainly not regretting preordering this for the PC. Besides, I will almost certainly want to use mods at some point, and in case they do mess up level scaling or something, we'll still have options.

As for Skyrim itself I see already that there is one thing I'm not going to like about the game at all. The fact that they've combined Greaves/cuirass' This is the way for which the one set of armor is that you get depending on which side you help in SI and the reason for which I don't wear it is because it's all one. At least if you've got them as two seperate Items likey the are in Oblivion you can mix and match them to your likeing and change one or they other out to suit your needs @ a paticular time. The only thing for which combining them does is makes it to where it takes up less slots in the inventory and meant less work for the developers.
BTW does anyone know if they've said whether or not we'll be able to enchant items with more than one enchantment?

This one has a new description of a dungeon that sounds pretty damn cool and isn't Bleak Barrow. Obviously theres spoilers for the actual dungeon within...
