I highly doubt any single item will be able to have multiple enchantments. We may be able to reenchant items by taking everything to its base elements and removing the magical power, but I highly doubt an item will have multiple effects.
Then again, I could be wrong. Oblivion obviously had items with multiple enchantments, but those were high leveled loot items and I think, at least imo, those special items should be left as loot reward.
Man, who knows how many different rings and amulets are in this game....probably hundreds upon hundreds.
Can't wait for my first enchanted item. I hope its a good ring that fortifies magicka.

Nice to see that Beth has released another PC screenshot:

Damn thats awesome.
First thing I thought of when I saw that was the one scene in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer of all things, what with the northern lights and ice flows:

I'll have BF3, MW3, Arkham City, and Revelations before I finally devote the time to play it.
The wait will be worth it.

Thanks for sharing all the great pics. I so hope that 11/11 gets here soon. I so want to play it.
Cmessaz/RPGamer13- Will have to admit that I like the fact that Steam remembers your password for you that sure helps out allot. Especially when we've got so many to remember as it is now.<G> Also glad to hear that Steam don't flood you with junkmail. What does steam do dump everything into one folder no matter how many games you buy from them? I wouldn't like that there at all.
Hey don't worry about it. It looks like a Program Files sub-folder inside Steam folder. Steam has only one negative fact for me and that is about achievements. Some games have troubles about getting the achievement at the right time.
I thought that the game achievements were only for the console games. Except for DA which has the for the c as well. Well yes as long as you don't buy for example DA1 DA2, Skyrim, and Oblivion and they put them all in the same exact subfolder. That there could get ugly.
you can change that. there are options at the start of steam installation. you can configure as you please.
How? I've tried everything and Divinity 2 is always saved to a Steam sub folder. I want to be able to put the execution file on my taskbar.

I am very tempted to pick up Arkham City tomorrow, saw a review and it just looks so incredible. So many good games on the horizon, can't wait for Skyrim. Luckily I have GOW 3, Sims 3, and maybe Arkham City to hold me over until November 11.LPPrince wrote...

I'm expecting this, Deus Ex or AC Revelations to be my GOTY. We shall see, Deus Ex has already left some big shoes for these games to fill.
DE has too many niggly little problems to be GOTY. Skyrim will be a clear winner.

I haven't even played Skyrim yet and I can already tell its got a much better shot at winning some GOTY awards.
That, possibly MW3 or BF3(doubt either of them though will actually win), Assassin's Creed Revelations MAYBE, Halo Anniversary possibly, Arkham City perhaps.
Now that I think about it, Skyrim likely has the best chances of winning. Hell, Oblivion won quite a bit of GOTY's, so I can see Skyrim doing the same.

I'm going to absolutely DESPISE the day Skyrim comes out though.
Mainly because I won't start playing it until after I beat Revelations, which comes out on the 15th, and then I'll have to give that game a few days or maybe a week.
Skyrim is a huge time investment, so I want to give it a lot of uninterrupted attention as far as games go.

You can create a steam shortcut to the game.

It *can't* be this good. The industry doesn't make games this good. Or does it? I want Skyrim right now. If it's even half of how its being described, then I suspect I'll have to say good bye to the real world for a very VERY long time.

Step 1: Buy Skyrim.
Step 2: Play around, explore the world, don't complete much.
Step 3: Wait for mods to fix bugs & character system.
Step 4: ???
Step 5:

If Skyrim is that good than we are doomed, gonna live like a caveman for some time, gonna miss some workdays due to "sickness".
But this is too good to be true. There is always a catch.

Are we sure about this? Because I was reading through the various '3 hour' convention demos and this guy is reporting that he made a pair of boots. Just boots. And equipped them. Then later he brags about the fact that while the guy playing next to him found a dragon, he, on the other hand, found a tanning station, and managed to craft a pair of gloves.Redneck1st wrote...

Yeah that all sounded a bit too awesome. Are we in danger of overhype? GTA 4 had the same problem and never came anywhere near living up to it. I have the same fear with Batman Arkham City.

I'm a bit disappointed that they're not in the main game, being that they're so deeply imbued in Skyrim's lore but so many other things sound amazing.
I hope that Vampirism is better this time around. I don't wanna go around like an old, ugly person.

It'd be neat to visit Solstheim in an expansion. Maybe that's where we can see some werewolves!

Blood Moon was an effin' great expansion, especially with Geiler the Mumbling's prophecy. Along with The Frozen Throne, probably one of my favorite expansions of all time.

It's been pretty much confirmed by multiple sources. Overall, I think this is looking better than Oblivion, but that is definitely one element that has me seriously disappointed. Combining left and right gauntlets into one "gauntlet" set I can understand, which Oblivion did. This seems a bit overkill.

Actually, I think there's a Perk that lets you enchant a already enchanted item. Of course, we don't know if that means we'll be able to erase a enchantment and put a new one or enchant a same object two times.
