Do we have any details on same-sex?

Besides the fact that they're in?

And I suspect it's not even remotely important in the grand scheme of things.  This isn't a Bioware game.   There's no romance system.  I'll be absolutely shocked if the marriage process in Skyrim is anything more than:

NPC: Hey there, PC, we've cleared a dungeon together, wanna get married?"
PC: Ok.
NPC: Cool.  I see you have a house.  I'll hang out there.  Stop by if you want something to eat.

That said, this  still seems to be  a big deal to so many people.     Which I find hilarious, considering the fact that   this is the same game that lets you be  a water-breathing lizard creature who can marry a human.

I bet Argonians get a unique "Do you want to lick my Hist tree?" marriage proposal option.

Amazon, hands down. You get a $10 gift card for pre-ordering Skyrim, and release day shipping is only $1.

^The $10 gift card is only available for the 360/PS3. A real shaft for PC players. :D

That's odd. I thought everyone got -9 dollar shipping lol.

NEW INFO! (Spoilers)

-Enchanting can be raised by using staffs.

-Topal the Pilot's ship can be found in Skyrim, along with his journal.

Will there be random encounters in the game world, like in FO3/NV?

I'm going to see which city is my favorite before I choose a permanent residence to set up shop. I also hope to find something that is towards the center of the map. I go farming and selling for loot early and often...and throughout...and I try to get one of every weapon and item. I neatly categorize non-inventory loot into different areas of the house as appropriate (weapons chest, armor chest, wardrobe, scroll desk, potion cabinet, ring drawer, etc.). I'm hoping there is an interface that'll let you store items on shelves neatly for display and in display cases easily and efficiently. :)

I'll have to wait and see what city feels like home to me.

Does anyone else organize their loot in their houses?

So your going to treat this game like the Sims?

Its not the organizing and I didn't say there was anything wrong with it.  It just seems like the way he was talking he's going ot act like an NPC doing farming and going home every night.

Definetely not. Not only do I organize it and ****, and think about which city/cities I like the most, but which city/cities my character would prefer. I always play an argonian, so I had a house in Leyawiin. I was also a thief, so I had a house in the Imperial City.

I spent hours in Oblivion placing books and loot in my houses just the way I want. I am obsessive about making my house perfect for the character I'm role playing.

The Grand Prize winner will win the following:

A trip for two to QuakeCon 2012
A limited edition Skyrim map signed by the team at Bethesda Game Studios
A limited edition Skyrim Xbox 360

I'm sending a picture of me as an Imperial. It will be very convincing.

No, that answers my question.  I just never had heard anything on the subject.  And it was a passing question, I could have found out on my own.

It doesn't matter whether it's going to be like, whether a Bioware game or Fable, I'm betting on it being like Fable.  It's hard for me to explain and it would be a long explanation, one I do not feel like typing out or making public.

I usually farm to find all weapons and items, but its mostly for inventory loadout purposes. It feels good knowing where all my loot that I don't sell is and knowing precisely where its at. I tend to store enchanted clothes and robes in with the enchanted armor, but I think I'm going to keep crafting items and crafting elements and materials separate this time since its all custom. I swing around my house once in a while to unload items or change out my inventory loadout.

Like you, Chunky, I keep my books separate with the non-quest notes so my inventory doesn't get cluttered, even though notes have zero weight in the inventory. Hopefully all 300 books are longer than IV's, and still increase Skill the first time you open them.

It's called roleplaying, people do that sometimes.

@Topic:

Maybe Skyrim's forum is infecting me with it's roleplaying poison, but I feel like keeping a in-game journal for my character. Eh.

Interesting idea, although I know for me it would interfere with gameplay. I know for a fact that over the course of 350 hours I forget specifics, unless it is a particularly tough enemy or situation, or something extremely unique or funny happens. It'd be fun to look back and see in detail.

From Oblivion, I remember my first Oblivion gate, and for some reason remember my first enchanted loot... west of the Imperial City at the entrance to an Ayleid Ruin....from a Necromancer. I remember running into Umbra at level 2 purely by coincidence.

Cool idea,

Like, in what form?  a podcast?

Do do you know where it can be viewed?

The answer is sorta complicated. It's on Spike TV at 1 AM on the East Coast, and it's also at 1 AM on the West Coast. If you live on the east coast, you can watch it on regular TV at 1 AM. If you're on the west coast, you can either stay up until 1 AM Pacific time or follow this link to view a feed of Spike TV's east coast feed (Pacific time people tune in at 10:00 PM!).

It's supposed to have six minutes of new footage, but I'm a bit skeptical as to whether it will be new or not. It will probably be a stupid reediting of the gameplay trailer.

Can't you just see it now....

"The player goes to a town called Riverwood, where they recieve a quest to go a place called Bleak Falls Barrow. There is a golden dragon claw there, and the player must obtain the dragon claw and use it as a key...."

Lol....Bleak Falls Barrow is gorgeous, though. The lighting effects they showed there are truly amazing, and the one lever was unique. I bet there are oodles of chests in the corners/shadows filled with loot that a lot of people just skip by and never see.
