I'm pretty sure you will be able to do this using a console command if you are playing on PC.

IMO, not having any respec potions adds to the replay value to some extent.

Absolutely it does. I'm glad you can't respec. Makes you hone in when levelling and think about what you really want.

That's 100% doable and Bethesda has focused on giving you that opportunity, one of the sweet advantages of a classless system. You are what you want to be, in this astronomically huge and detailed world stuffed with cities, towns, nature, lakes, quests, factions...and hundreds of unique dungeons. And you have 10 races to chose from.

You will be able to focus on improving everything you mentioned very specifically and deliberately. Perks are designed to give it flavor to go along with new abilities and statistical increases. It's a fascinating combo you're thinking about. As you go along you'll fine tune how you want to play and realize other skills that are important on a smaller scale.

For my build, I'm focusing purely in all Five Schools of magicka along with a little physical strength and Security. Security is the Skill that directly governs their lockpicking system. There is lots of good loot to be found, along with raw components and elements for individual crafting. Destruction is fun (of course), I personally am excited to duel wield flames.

By any chance do you work for Bethesda, cause you can ADVERTISE SOME MOAR. lol

Confirmed: The PC version of Skyrim will unlock at 12:01am EST (Nov 11) / 9:01pm PST (Nov 10).

This is the same as the RAGE unlock time. Those extra three hours will be much appreciated by those of us who live on the west coast.

I'm not really into collectible statues and souvenirs, etc., but I considered getting it just for the Art Book. 

Hopefully the art book will be available separately for purchase.

Good preview, pity about the lack of being able to give companions more complex commands.

So uh, the first 45 minutes or so of the game have apparently leaked. The YouTube links are in that topic but be warned, it's not the original vid and the re-uploader had to put it out in SDTV 240p or so from what I've gathered. So you're in for a faintly-lit spectacle if you decide to check it out.

Curiosity got the better of me. I watched about 30 secs 6 minutes into the second vid and saw some combat. I then closed the tab and will now wait for 11.11


What I saw was confusing if im honest. Your clearly level 1, barely into the game and your fighting a gang of 5/6 men already?!

yes

It kind of depends on how you define romance, I think.  You can do quests to get someone to like you, then you can marry them... but I don't believe these are romances in the sense we're used to from a BioWare game. 

AFAIC, there aren't romances in Skyrim, just accessory people.  YMMV!  :)
