Mega cookies for you, RPGamer13! Thank you.

Staying spoiler free as possible until launch. Tempted to look at that new video but I'm surprisingly resolute and not interested. Holding back and waiting will be worth it for me.

Skyrim comes out....this month. 10 more days

The intro didn't ruin a lot for me, but I probably shouldn't have watched it because it spoiled a few minor surprises. But rest assured you will love Skyrim's beginning on 11-11-11.

Looks like the rumor was true, XBOX360!Skyrim was leaked.

How did that happen? :o

A few journalists got their copies early.

And so, basic human behavior has kicked in.  Some of  have made  gameplay videos and posted them; some have linked us to their accounts so we can  view their  in-game achievements as they  unlock them, etc.

So in the first few minutes I heard two voices I recognize off the bat:

Michael Gough and Richard Epcar. The legenday Seijuro Hiko himself!

Looking at the armor, Bioware has so much to learn... That armor looks so much better on the female NPC than any of the armor in Oblivion... And you can actually see that's a woman in the armor!

Is our character going to have sheaths or is that just for NPCs?

What do you think those creatures are in the second to the last pic?

My immediate thought was vampires but I don't see fangs.

Yes, and I don't think the Volkihar (Ice Vampires) would use fire spells.

Also, we've already seen Falmer and they looked quite different.

why wouldn't they use them?

Because Volkihar live beneath frozen lakes and reach up and grab people's legs.

They are called "Ice Vampires," so frost attacks would seem much more appropriate.

There goes any notion of upgrading my PC. Seriously considering hitting Tiger Direct and building a new one.

And looking at that screenshot at the top of the page, this might be the first game I play an argonian. Now I just need to decide my class...

You've seen the system requirements for Skyrim though, right? They're not anything too crazy really. If you're playing The Witcher 2 or Battlefield 3 ok, I don't think Skyrim is going to be overly taxing.

Yes for the Minimum Specs - for playing on "Low" settings at 1920x1080 resolution - all you need is

ANY DX9 graphics card with 512MB video memory, a Dual Core CPU running at 2GHz and 2GB RAM.

My triple SLi set-up should be just fine, though seeing the exact card I have in the recommended section makes the tech freak in me want to go out and buy a pair of GTX 580s.

I just saw the world's worst players playing the recently leaked Skyrim. It was painful watching them, it was epic fail on a whole new level.

Sandybridge 2500, z68x chipset, Dual 5870 crossfire. Only slightly worried. I love my graphics to be jawdroppingly within budget.

It's going to be breathtaking on my 1080p projector next Thursday night.

(Hopefully the Steam version unlocks at 9pm PST on November 10)

Don't tell me someone tried to fight a jihl, fresh after the classic prison break intro.

I wouldn't hope for that, Steam usually has a strict and uniform time table for unlocks. I hope there is a pre-load though, when I does finally unlock I want to be ready to roll.

It'll look amazing on my 42 inch Flat Panel LCD Television. 1080p FTW.

Preload has been confirmed.

Unlock time of 12:01am EST confirmed by Pete Hines on Oct 28.

RAGE (Bethesda's last game), unlocked on Steam at 12:01am EST (Oct 4) / 9:01pm PST (Oct 3), so it seems within reason that Skyrim could unlock at the same time as RAGE.

The only reason why I'm not sure is that Pete subsequently issued a separate tweet on Oct 29 indicating Skyrim would be unlocking at 12:01am in every individual time zone.

I have never seen Valve allow for dozens of different unlock times for any other game, so it seems most likely that they will follow the pattern of RAGE and Pete's tweet dated Oct 28, in other words 12:01am EST / 9:01pm PST.

On the other hand, perhaps Valve never did that simply because no publisher had asked them before. Maybe they want to make a big deal out of 11-11-11 worldwide or something.

So there is still a possibility of dozens of different unlock times, but worst case scenario for me would be 12:01am PST and best case scenario would be 9:01pm PST.

I'll likely start playing the game around noon as I likely won't go to a midnight release and will simply pick it up in the morning.

It was a live stream that was taken down as I watched it. :pinched:

These guys were fighting vampires in the most inefficient way imaginable. They died literally 15 times because they never used the perk he had to make what he was using stronger. He used a giant battle ax or flame spells, and kept using his perks for one handed stuff. He also kept panicking and trying to kill the vampires with a healing spell. He had poisons, but never used them right. He also said the game sucked because he couldn't figure out how to kill these boss level vampires.
