How the hell does M'aiq still live after 200 years?

M'aiq is the Daedra King.

You've heard it here first, folks.

I like this.

"Sometimes M'aiq feels that time passes very quickly. People say it has been centuries since the Oblivion Crisis, but it seemed to be no more than five years to M'aiq."

Pretty funny! "If you require sexual intercourse, please keep your head out from in front of the television."

Also, that pic at the bottom of the article is so not a werewolf. They're definitely in the game, if maybe to a lesser extent than vampires, but that is clearly a troll.

Sometimes I just randomly kill a guard because of my fustration in hearing the same VA. -___- It's alright for the first few hours of playing...but then it gets fustrating.

Is it wrong that some pretty lights in the Sky increased my anticipation?

That's lovely. I still want hookers.

I want to take hookers there. You know for the extra romance.

That is absolutely stunning. The scenery, the music... everything is just perfect. But it didn't increase my anticipation any... because my anticipation level is already maxed out. :o

There's nothing like an entire race having the same voice. The elves got a pretty bad deal - three different types of elf and only one voice.

Even better when random dialogue happens and it sounds like a person is talking to themselves. Image IPB

You know, Oblivion is a good game, but considering the ugly graphics, the horrid voice acting and the infinite amount of glitches and bugs...I'm really surprised it collected so many awards.

I think it was mostly due to the anticipation of waiting 4 years for an Elder Scrolls game.

It's easier than asking them a pile of questions, agreeing with everything they say, then doing a quest, followed by more questions and then a wait until the story dictates its time to get in their pants. I'm a rich man with little time for questions, things aren't going to stab themselves in the face while I stand around resolving some tarts dilemma.

I know right? I mean how frickin' great is the art style in this game? Everything looks so damn cool, and all the races look positively intimidating. The craziest thing is that a game this good-looking rose from the ashes of Oblivion, which was possibly the ugliest major gaming title in the last ten years.

Case in point:

Image IPB

This is a game that is seriously making me consider playing an Orc. An Orc. I just have to find a character backstory that subverts the usual "alcoholic berserker" stereotype they always get saddled with...

Okay, sorry, rant over. Am I the only one who is this excited over the art style (not the graphics, mind you)?

I know exactly what you mean and share your exact feelings regarding the new look they gave the Orcs. Not a race that has ever appealed to me, but suddenly I quite want to play one.

That HUGE sandbox feel it gave off -- combined with it's massive content -- is what gave it such praise.

Most of the races look so much better just because of the more realistic facial proportions. But yeah, it's helped the Orc. A lot. The forehead on the Oblivion Orc is way too sloped.

The terrible voice acting killed Oblivion for me. Most other problems I have with it have been solved by mods, but this is just not fixable. Ah, well. Back to Morrowind.

If the voices are such a big deal to you then why don't you just turn off the voices? There're no voices in Morrowind.

I wrote a short story for my Dovahkiin for those interested in the lore of the ES scrolls. It is fairly large for a character background (19 pages) so it can be a daunting read. You can find the link at the official ES forums in the link below -
