I'm really liking the looks of this game.

Just as long as we never have to see this again.

THIS. ^ Oh and I don't want to hear the same voice actors over and over again. <_<

Am I the only one who looked at that character's name and thought, "That's the dumbest damn name I've ever heard in my life"?

Because that's the dumbest damn name I've ever heard in my life. "Falanu Hlaalu"... LOL.

I wrote a short story for my Dovahkiin for those interested in the lore of the ES scrolls. It is fairly large for a character background (19 pages) so it can be a daunting read. You can find the link at the official ES forums in the link below -

I like the look of all races except for the Wood Elves. I mean, they do look more 2011-ish, but I'm disappointed that they lost their standard fantasy Elf look. They now look like a bunch of aliens :alien:
On second thought, I actually DO like the look of Wood Elves. Now they have more serious faces and an appearance, for once you don't laugh at since Daggerfall.

32-bit version only for Skyrim. (64-bit possible in patches, but not confirmed.)

Designing your game around six-year old architecture makes me sad. :(

I have XP 32 bit though :(

I am glad they let me play it. Though I do have Vista CD in other room I cba to install it given how tacky the OS is. Win7 on the otherhand... I'm too cheap to buy instead. Hehe

I have nothing against 32-bit versions. I just wish it wasn't 32-bit ONLY.

Don't bother with Vista, it is terrible.

And you might as well wait for Windows 8. :D

There are worse names, I'm pretty sure of that.
But Falanu Hlaalu is quite funny, hahaha.

My God, that is amazing.

Thank goodness I have less than a week to wait.

Did they say they might make a 64-bit exe or just rumor? Because I'd fully be behind that. I have lots of memory and I want to USE IT. Also to have less crashes hopefully.

You got the 360 version because who didn't have the PC version? The pirates?

Probably not a good idea to admit to piracy on here.

They can. 32-bit is compatible with 64-bit.

64-bit is just nice, because you can actually use all the memory that modern PCs have been coming with for the past 3+ years.

It's just a possibility as far as I am aware. Haven't heard anything on the Internets about it being officially confirmed or denied.

No, it means that the game can't take advantage of all of your systems performance ability because 32-bit apps can't utilize it.

HA!

Sorry for taking so long but decided to wait for the video, since it was about to end.

Here's the Video

Note: as i said before, THE VIDEO IS OF VERY LOW QUALITY AND IT IS STILL PROCESSING, but visible still, and it's just me booting the game and the 360.

i can record more but i wanted to this as fast as possible(it already took a long ass time with this short video).

i can still post my user name if you want me to, but i'm currently disconnected.

You're currently disconnected because you're playing a pirated copy, right?

Nobody has received legit copies one week early. Why brag about piracy on a Bioware forum?

relax that will never happen. you will most certainly not have any problems due to 64-bit OS.

You should have a folder in your C: drive called  "Program Files (x86)"

Every one of the programs in there is 32-bit and you have already installed them.

Vista 64 bit here.  Thats just pathetic.

I don't follow.

Are you saying you think that 32-bit applications dont' run on 64-bit OS? You surely already have many 32-bit applications running on your PC.

Skyrim will be no different.

In fact there have only been a couple of games that ever released 64-bit versions. 99.999999% of PC games are only available in 32-bit and they still run fine on 64-bit OS.

Naughty you're right there. After all I'm running Windows 7 64bit version and have no problems at all running older games like DAO NWN, BG and Oblivion. I was hoping that with Skyrim they would have released a 64bit version of the game.

@CSFteeeer-Well now will have to admit that is how you've got the game already its not a legitimate copy its actaually a pirated copy of the game. Well some people aren't to bright that they would admit to that on an open forum like this one. It also answers several other questions for which he c/wouldn't answer before like the name of the store for example. Folks like this I've got no use for because many of us pay for the game and wait for its true release instead of resorting to pirated copies of something.

As for waiting for Windows 8 I wouldn't hold your breath on that one there. Remember what happened with Vista it totally sucked. I'm glad that I didn't upgrade and waited. I didn't give MS my hard earned money for Vista due to the fact that I was in the process of building a new pc at the time. And after hearing all the nightmares about Vista I'm glad I didn't. I won't upgrade to 8 til it's been out about a year. Image IPB And if you're still rinning a 32bit OS my question for you is Why?!

And do you have, God forgive me, any proof? Unless you do, it's not very nice to accuse people of piracy.

There is no proof, but it is a logical deduction considering the inconsistencies in his story and the possible other explanations for how he received an early copy - the most likely of which is that it's an illegal copy of the game.

I won't deny, it's a possibility and I've considerated it. But really, just accusing people of piracy without any proof is pointless and kinda, well, rude.
