Which isn't a good thing at all. Now  it's up to him to prove me wrong and that he's got a legitimate copy of the game.

That is true there are and for that matter there are kids dying right here in the U.S. of the same thing believe it or not. But for him not to think someone would figure out that he had a pirated copy of a game a week before it's release come on now. It maybe weak as you say but the facts are still there. And after all it's awfully convient that he's got Skyrim a week before it's release and its the 360 version the same one for which has been pirated? Come on now people were sent to prison for less evidence than this here.

To be honest with you I don't know if there is anything for which I can do about him having a pireated copy of the game. Its like I said in a previous post if it were me I wouldn't come online and brag about the fact that I've got it. After all you never know how many folks just might be searching the forums for such things and it could get him in hot water.

I am fully aware of the rules of the forum and i'm not the one who in fact originally brought up the fact that csfteeeer had a pirated copy of the game it was in fact Naughty99 in a posting on the previous page. I just put what CSfteeer stated in all his postings together and the fact that the xbox version was pirated and that is the copy of the game for which he's got. Now if they ban me for putting two and two together and coming up with four than they can blame my math teacher.

Only a small handful of games have been released with 64-bit executables

Crysis 1, Far Cry 2 and the Civ5 devs are supposedly working on one for Civ5 but that's about it AFAIK.

It's possible to use the 64-bit exe for Steam install of Crysis, you have to rename some files or something.

Only journalists received the game that early. They were given copies early so they could have a week or so to review the game before the embargo lifts on Nov 10. One of those journalists hacked his Xbox disc and torrented it.

At some point in the next several days some unscrupulous retailers will probably begin selling legit copies of the game early and then about 1-2 days before release date, some people in certain countries who pre-ordered might receive their copy 1 or 2 days early from FedEx.

Pre-order customers are not going to magically receive the game 2 weeks early. Meanwhile, there are many thousands of people who downloaded the pirated Xbox version that was originally given to a journalist.

Hmm the solution is obvious don't give games to journalist. As to the "I pirate so I can test the game out" A crime is a crime period. Seems more and more across all fields, Journalists are nothing more than criminals and give perfect cause for some of what happens to them across the world. Or at least the profession its bad name it has more and more today.

Thats like me walking around in a store with clothes I didn't buy "Oh I was trying them out!" or me just taking a bite out of a doughtnut in a bakery "Oh I was just seeing how it tastes!" That **** don't hold up. I don't really care so much your stealing ****, so much as making up BS reasons. If you have an illegal copy of WOW or Minecraft, just say its as you don't want to spend the money to buy it. Don't make up a bunch of crap. Because at the end of the day in a court of Law Unless you had a life endagering problem and needed to steal medical supplies or some such courts rearely are understanding on thievery.

Course I'm not jumping on the bandwagon saying you stole it, you might have not, hell maybe it did come early, maybe someone at a game store that you greased the palm on, and it fell out the back of a truck or store. *shrugs*

I can understand being short on money, thats why you plan out what, and when your buying stuff. Anyways off of that topic.

Are Katana's in? Also its a two handed sword in the real world so if it is I wonder if the game will class it as a two handed blade?

I also wonder when/if we'll see a source on the various Armor styles in the game. I'm leaning toward Orcish Armor, mainly for its looks, but it would be nice to know what else we may have in store.
