I'm getting the Pc version as well might even try out some mods if I see any that look interesting for Skyrim. Played through Oblivion once so far and only played the Vanilla version as the call it.<LOL>

I'm beginning to doubt theres going to be a midnight opening at the Gamestop here. Their facebook and twitter is all about the new CoD game. Skyrim isn't being mentioned at all. I'll have to ask in store in the morning then try to refrain from using intimidation tactics if they aren't having one.

Yeah mine arnt doing one either.    The staff are fed up because they done so many this year already and they are already doing one for MW3 on tuesday.


They did say they would be open at 8am though so I guess I will have to get up early.

I have a baaaad feeling that I might not get it next week. I didn't order it from Steam, direct shipment from Ahvenanmaa/Åland this time. Though, it might be possible that I get it early. As far as I know it's a Steamworks game so there wouldn't be any benefits if I get it early.

Anyway, what are yall doing to your PC's before skyrim drops? Along the lines of upkeep, I want to know if I missed anything small but important.

Yeah I can't see mine doing two midnight openings in one week. On very rare occassions though they get an email through the night before release telling them to break the street date and start selling them early at around 8ish. Guess I'll find out tomorrow, I was kind of looking forward to playing it all night on Thursday then not having to get up on Friday morning. If my dreams are crushed then I'll smite someone.
