Modern Warfare 3 will keep my attention away from Skyrim for a few days.

Then, I head to the midnight release for Skyrim.

1. Enter Gamestop.
2. Greet friends who work at said Gamestop.
3. Show receipt for Skyrim.
4. Give Power Up Rewards card.
5. Receive card back.
6. Acquire game.
1-6. Small talk about Skyrim and other games coming out.
7. Thank however many women are there who will compliment me for my long hair being quite attractive.
8. Leave with a smile on my face.
9. Return home.
10. Take Skyrim out of plastic bag.
11. Go take out my keys.
12. Use keys to cut through thin plastic covering.
13. Rip plastic covering off the game case.
14. Turn on Xbox 360.
15. Take out Modern Warfare 3 from console.
16. Return Modern Warfare 3 to its game case.
17. Place Modern Warfare 3 atop my massive pile of video games.
18. Open Skyrim case.
19. Remove disk from case.
20. Place Skyrim disk on Xbox 360 disk tray.
21. Close disk tray.
22. Start game.
23. Quit back to the Xbox 360 dashboard.
24. Install Skyrim to my Hard Drive.
25. Restart game.

So, that's generally my plans for Friday.

Replace Halo Reach it's about with Skyrim.

One copy of Skyrim is not enough. I'm going to buy several copies, melt them down into liquid form, and inject all of them directly into my freakin' veins.

Then, I will mutate into a giant Nord and rampage through downtown like Godzilla, crushing peons beneath my foot, swatting away planes and helicopters like flies, and blowing hot flames at all of the buildings until nothing's left but smoldering ruins.

Once I'm done doing that, I'll march to Gamestop (crushing more peons as I go), lift the building directly up out of the ground... and devour it.

Then when it's all said and done... I'll transform back into my normal form, buy another copy from the other Gamestop that I didn't eat, and go home and actually play it...

...then repeat the process when the next Elder Scrolls game is released.

Now that's someone who's gone crazy, only a crazy person can inflict bodily harm upon themselves.  And seeing as a person truly in love can do it, proof that love does indeed make one crazy. ^^

A whole quest line tied to Lycanthropy? Ew... my first character is definitely going to be enhanced through cheats and solely to see those things that I wouldn't otherwise.

I hate werewolves like I hate dogs, with a passion. But I like vampires, vampire chicks are sexy as hell.

You might be pleased to know that sexy werewolf chicks are confirmed.

Sexy and werewolf should not go together...  Unless these werewolf chicks don't have the fur or exhibit canine qualities.

No, no.

It was his friend's c**k.

Werewolves can theoretically be sexy in their natural form...it is the metamorphosis that reveals a truly wretched and powerful beast.

I love the idea of a collector's edition, but...I've bought enough over the years to realize how seldom I pick up or tinker around with the extras after I play the title for a year. $150 is way too much for the brief pleasure of a nice box, a small art book which will end up on the internet as a pdf in a month and a making of interview that seems cool, but loses it's luster after two viewings. And that dragon statue...pretty much every girlfriend/wife will toss that out as soon as possible. I wish the collector's edition for Skyrim was cheaper and offered better extras, though it is neat and the box art is awesome.

I couldn't agree with you more. I almost bought the CE until I seen what little it came with. I couldn't justify the extra $90 for an art book and a disk on making the game. Since I collect dragon stuff I almost bought it for the dragon. But when I'm glad I didn't because I seen an unboxing of the CE in a video on youtube and found out that the dragon was made of a light plastic. Proved to me that it Definatly wasn't worth the $90.

Now as for the Vapirisim/Lycanthorpy for which will be in Skyrim I didn't become a vampire in Oblivion the idea of having to drink someone's blood just didn't interest me at all for some reason.<LOL> But might give lycanthorpy a try for the quests at least.

Dhrio- I thought I had seen one of them bite the other's C**k in that video.

I'd of bought the CE(or regretted not getting it) if the dragon statue was made of stone.

Or something other than plastic which would make it last longer.

You'd think for the high price tag there'd be some in-game stuff as well, or more swag.

Most CEs don't offer much of real value - they're just cash-ins, more or less.

Exactly.

Which is why I get super excited when a CE is actually worth it, or if the "upgrade" is free.

Tsk tsk. I stopped going to image boards because of that tripe. Every time I'd open up a page, I'd get bombarded with yiff and other horrors of a similar nature. Totally put a damper on the lulz, man.
