But when I was on Fort Gordon, the people there actually knew their stuff and played Street Fighter along with Japanese RPGs. And after I got back, it seems the GameStop here actually employed people that know video games, I was shocked.

I have yet to meet a GameStop employee enthusiastic about games.
Really, the ones at my gamestop were extremely excited over some new games coming out.
The GameStop near where I live is awesome - all of the guys (and the one girl) are extremely enthusiastic about gaming. We go there fairly often, and pretty much every time we do, get into a long conversation with one of the employees.
It's the other game stores around here that are awful. There is a Video Games Etc. that we used to go to that seems to have gone downhill. When we were looking for a 2nd copy of Dead Island, not a single one of the employees had played it; they didn't have any in stock, but they were going to give me someone else's preordered PS3 version fo the game, when we wanted the xbox version. /facepalm

To be fair I had just paid for the game and he was trying to push MW3 on me in his own peculiar way. Usually they are very enthusiastic and will stand chatting away about games, especially the guy I know. Don't know what was up with this guy, I think an Alchemist must have wronged him at some point and now he fears alchemy.naughty99 wrote...

I was chatting to the guy in Gamestop about it too and his reason for not getting it was "I don't like potions and stuff. Is that why your getting it? All that alchemy?" my reply was some sort of confused mumble about swording stuff up the face. I'm still somewhat confused by his statement.
And this guy's job is to sell the game?

Wow, dude sounds like a huge dumb ass. Are you sure it wasn't some blonde bimbo in disguise? I can just imagine some bratty girl chewing bubblegum and saying in the most obnoxious voice, "Like, oh my gawd! I sooo don't like potions and stuff."
LOL.

Are you kidding, potions would be like "product" to a blonde bimbo.

Look, I know its your job, but just ask once, and when I say no, don't go on to explaining the offer to me anyway.
Honestly, next time that happens, I'm gonna slam my fist on the table and say, "ask me again, I dare you".

But the guy at my Gamestop seems very entusiasic about Games, he always recommends me what he thinks it's best and what not to buy, i've listened to him a lot and has almost never let me down(almost).
I'm pretty cool with the guy but i don't know much about him.

I love the people at my local Gamestop. In all the years I have been going to that store only one employee was bad. It was a female employee who refused to give me my code for the pre-ordered villager maker for Fable 3. (It wasn’t printed on my final receipt) She told me such a bonus didn’t exist. I told her it most certainly did and I wanted my code, to which she replied. “There is no such thing, I would know since I work at a gaming store!” Luckily the manager stepped in and rectified things before I rearranged her face.
I love my Gamestop and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Now you wouldn't have really rearranged the face of a young woman or any woman now would you? After all we guys aren't suppose to hit women.

In general, I despise gamestop. The rare times I actually find a game that is selling for cheap and I can actually get it NOW, I go there, but I always pre-order from best buy because the gamestop workers ALWAYS tell me about new offers or stupid **** I am never going to do.
Look, I know its your job, but just ask once, and when I say no, don't go on to explaining the offer to me anyway.

LOL - I'm with you on that one! Gamestop make me want to cut a betch.

And now, back to Skyrim...

Well, since I am very short and not that big of a person. No, I wouldn’t have rearranged her face. As a small person I have learned to diffuse situations with wit and humor--and running works, too.
BUT! Were I tall and robust, I would have so kicked her ass. I have no …extra appendages that would keep me from “not hitting girls”. I am a girl.

At my Gamestop the staff are really good at games. I've seen them warn people about bad deals and actually giving great suggestions to games if people ask them. I would've bought games from them all the time if the prices weren't among the highest in my area.
Now I'm just lucky that a webshop have one of their "physical" stores in my town. The prices there are roughly around 100 kr (somewhere around $10) cheaper than Gamestop all the time.
I do buy games at Gamestop when they have their sales, though. I often find unexpected (and really cheap) treasures there for some reason.

Some background on the Thalmor's motivations in the game:To kill Man is to reach Heaven, from where we came before
the Doom Drum's iniquity. When we accomplish this, we can escape the
mockery and long shame of the Material Prison. To achieve this goal, we must:
1) Erase the Upstart Talos from the mythic. His presence fortifies
the Wheel of the Convention, and binds our souls to this plane.
2) Remove Man not just from the world, but from the Pattern of
Possibility, so that the very idea of them can be forgotten and thereby
never again repeated.
3) With Talos and the Sons of Talos removed, the Dragon will become
ours to unbind. The world of mortals will be over. The Dragon will
uncoil his hold on the stagnancy of linear time and move as Free Serpent
again, moving through the Aether without measure or burden, spilling
time along the innumerable roads we once travelled. And with that we
will regain the mantle of the imperishable spirit.
I don't really like how Bethesda have portrayed the secessionist factions thus far- not only the Thalmor but also the Argonian An-Xileel- they both seem extreme, insane and unreasonable. We'll probably hear next that the Stormcloaks torture kittens for the lulz or something along those lines.

My plan is to work Friday, come home and find my Amazon release-day delivery sitting on my steps. And enjoy the $10 pre-order bonus money I get to spend at amazon.com later.
Mail stops on vets day. Sorry.
USPS is closed; however, UPS, FedEx, DHL are making deliveries on Friday, in the event if your order is using a shipping service.
You'd think they'd have release day shipping if they weren't going to deliever? People aren't that stupid.
When order from Game or Play or Amazon over here you tend to get game a day earlier than release so if UK and already ordered from such places won't be delivered on friday but thursday instead (unless order too late aka on thursday or friday itself. I don't know if in the USA they do same.

Will have to admit that I didn't realize that you were a female. After all when everyone uses a handle you just never know who'se male and whose female. Can't even go by the avatars as I've found out. Just remeber good things come in small packages.<wink>

Well, they may well be. There's probably a reason why not all Nords fight for Jarl Windhelm. The unusual thing about Ulfric is that, if you think about it, they're loyal to an Empire, just not the current one.
Personally, I think it's reasonable that the secessionist forces act the way they are. The Thalmor's beliefs especially are very much in-line with traditional elven religious thinking, and their ambitions for elves overall go further than political independence.

I just have to decide which PC I'll go through the whole game first:

2.) Female Orc 2 Handed Warrior
3.) Male Nord dual wielding warrior
4.) Male Dunmer Archer rogue type
I like the idea of a female Orc warrior, in Skyrim at least.
I'm in the same boat though, my four choices being:
1) Female Bosmer 'witch of the wilds' (Mage/archer)
2) Male Khajiit Thief (no magic)
3) Female Altmer spellsword (hand to hand expert, raised by Khajiit backstory)
4) Male Breton mage (Holmes inspired alchemist).
Really tempted to play as an Orc this time around too, with their make over and all. But those are the four I've had in my head for ages now.

i myself will be interchanging, unless i absolutely have to, i don't like limiting myself to a play style.
But i do plan on focusing on somethings more than others.
First, i'll start with a Regular Nord focused on One Handed attacks(with shield) and Armor, i want to know the basics, the powers and all that, afterwards, i'll be playing with:
1)Male Breton, Focused on Illusion and Healing
2)Female High Elf, focused on Archery(yeah, an elf focused on Archery, original, i know) and sneak
3)Female Imperial, Focused on Destruction and One Handed
4)Male Orc, Focused on Two Handed and Heavy Armor
5)Female Khajit, Focused on Pickpocket and Healing(this shall be Challenging)
6)Male Dark Elf, focused on Two Handed and Light Armor
Afterwards, i have no idea, i have no thought of it, but there will definitely be more.
As for the Character that, well i'm not sure if i would call "Canon", but THE, like, the character i completely consider MINE, that would be a Male Nord Focused One Handed and Smithing, cause hey, i like the basics.
