My cousin is getting married on 11/11/11! Luckily they aren't having a proper wedding, because I wouldn't go to it anyways. :P

I fudging love this tavern music from the soundtrack. Am I the only one who hears a Native American influence?

Wow. That's fantastic. I also see the Native influence. Woodwinds are goregous!

Is Skyrim reminding anyone else of heroin?

Well you've sold me on the guide.<G> I'll be down near gamestop in the am and I'll go in and get one. I want it for mainly the artwork. Of course after I play through the game at least once I might check it out more in depth to see what I might of missed.

How'd you break your foot if you don't mind my asking? Hope that where you work you don't have to be on your feet allot and you get the chance to sit down from time to time. One advantage of having the cane no one gives you any cr** cause you could crack them in the head with it and show them whose boss.Image IPB If your married hubby in trouble.

Considering naughty’s last post about it, I’d say it’s going to be more than worth it. I can’t wait to get my physical map. I have a friend who works in a frame shop and I might get him to make a special frame for it and hang it. I wonder what the pre-order bonuses for other companies are?
And I broke my foot skydiving Image IPB….or I slipped and fell resulting in torn ligaments and fracturing my metatarsal. But it was extreme falling.

Naughty- First off thanks for taking the time to post that for everyone. I'll have to admit after taking the time to read through that it sounds to me like the guide is more than worth the cost. Especialy for the maps and character creation. As I'm leaning towards a dark elf dual weapon or bow and restoration spells. Not sure yet though like I said before I might run through as a jack of all trades the first time to get a full feel of the game.

This game is going to take 2 years just to find and explore all the locations, let alone the quests.

The scale is pretty damn impressive. Is my memory correct in recalling that some of the caves/dungeons can be a couple of hours long to explore?

Chunky it wouldn't have anything to do with Skyrim coming out that day now would it?<LOL> Didn't know anyone got married on a Fri.

Naughty I know with all the locations Skyrim is bigger than Oblivion. Oblivion there was like 425 total locations IIRC. Give or take about two years. Think after Skyrim there will be a 6 put out?

Kbomb- I couldn't agree with you more in regards to your mind being blown. I didn't realize the thing was so in depth and for the money its a h*** of a buy as well. I'm going to get the collectors edition tomorrow. As for the pre-order bonuses for the companies thats a good question one for which I don't think we'll get answered.

Well now sky diving sounds like fun. Always wanted to try that and wish that I would have. After all it's one of the few things that I've not tried. Been mt climbing rock climbing, skiing. At close to 50 might be getting to old to try the sky diving bit.<LOL>

EDIT: Gunslinger probably a good year or two. Image IPBImage IPB

If you can pull off a dual dagger backstab power attack with the right perks, high one-handed skill, maybe some poison on the blade, it looks like it will do a massive amount of damage:

ONE HANDED:
Armsman (all 5 ranks) 2x damage with one-handed weapon
Dual Savagery (1 rank) 1.5x damage with dual wield power attacks
Savage Strike (1 rank) 1.25 one-handed damage bonus with chance to decapitate

SNEAK:
Assassin's Blade (1 rank) 15x damage for dagger sneak attacks

So we have a total of 56.25 x (base damage x 2 for standard power attack x 2 weapons)

Something like 225 x normal base dagger damage for normal non-power attack.

If you add poison damage and enchant the daggers, this seems like it might be enough to one-shot a low level dragon!

There is at least one ginormous dwemer dungeon that seems like it probably has 15-20 hours of content, depending on your playing style. It's like a whole world unto itself. That one dungeon is bigger than a few RPGs I've played in the past.

I was being jocular.Image IPB I didn’t do it skydiving. It just sounds like a better story than “I slipped and fell off my back porch while walking the dog.”

Now that there is a lot of damage to be dealt from one attack. Of course I think that it might be hard if not near impossible to pull a sneak attack on a Dragon.

Do you know if we'll be able to add multiple enchantments to Items?

Do we know if the damage multipliers from different perk trees stack?

Naughty- 15+ hours just for one dungeon. Wow they have gone all out with this one. I doubt there will be a TES 6. After all how could they top this one? Better than only being able to add one enchantment like in Oblivion.

Kbomb-LOL so true there. What kind of dog is it?

Act-Now if you've got a link would love to check them out.

I don't see why they wouldn't, although the wording of the Assassin's Blade perk description is a little worrying, as it says "15x total damage" I assume that was a reference to the previous perk in the same tree, Backstab (6x damage), so that you wouldn't be confused and think if you got that perk you would have 6x backstab stacking with 15x Assassin's blade.

Wow, that’s just…wow.  You could just put hours upon hours into this game and not do a single quest. Just exploration alone. Usually the word ‘epic’ is overused, but in the case of this game I would say it is in it’s proper context.

Speaking of animals, we can get a dog companion, right?

One of the things that was quite enjoyable about DA2 was the ability to one-shot a boss with massive HP when playing a rogue with the Assassinate perk and some buffs.
