I'm guessing noone has PC version yet up and running? Wonder what file structure is like if possible to replace the dragon shouts for reason I stated above given my character based on Conan the Barbarian I want to replace a sound file with him saying "Crom!". So want to know if they use soundfiles or large data files with all audio inside single file.

They did say while back the toolkit will be available on launch day.

We put a big premium on our editor, which we then ship with the games. It’s going to come out again with Skyrim, the Creation Kit. So when it comes to content creation, we just have so much of it that we have to put a lot of development time into the tools, because the game is so big.

We’re hoping [the Creation Kit] will be available as a download on launch day. I don’t know if I can promise day-one, but it will be very close.

The answer is No. Todd Howard's disciples don't need math. Or at least they don't need to LEARN math, as  the adequate knowledge/tools required to create the game is  instantly bestowed upon them as soon as they enter His "aura".  lol

Of course not. Does Todd Howard  work at Bioware?

Wow, I consider Bioware's creations better then Bethseda's, and Todd Howard works for Bethseda, Todd Howard is God, and if Bioware's creations are better then Bethseda's (Which they are) then Bioware's creations are better then God's.

Sure, you certainly have a right to profess your opinions, however blasphemous they may be. LOL

Just don't come crying back to us when you get struck by a bolt of  lightning at 11:59pm tomorrow night.

What about this "God's" creations, are they all-powerful to?  Or would they have to learn math to program?  And if he is god why can't he just create a new Elder Scrolls game every day?

I can answer that last one.  God would never create an Elder Scrolls game every day because it would be a waste.   Mankind would take his creations for granted.  Several months-worth of Elder Scrolls titles would go unplayed due to  the inherant limitations of time-space.

Now you may be asking yourself, well if Todd Howard is God, can't He just make a single day last several earth years?  The answer is:  He could, of course.  And maybe He has.... in some other place far removed from our universe or even our dimension of existance.  But that's beside the point.  From a human  psychological  standpoint, the best way to generate awe, belief and worship  with regards to human beings  is to do exactly what He's doing:  Create an Elder Scrolls game every few years.

The main point of my post is about the need of math.

And the main point of their posts is to be funny :P

I'm beginning to lean towards being an Orc for my first run.  But he's going to be a good looking Orc.  One with l33t speaking skills and deadly with his 2-handed Axe.  I'm also going to  put points in destruction magic for my ranged combat needs.

My character will have no use for spells. Strength, shouts and the power of steel all the way.

"For no one - no one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. This you can trust." [Points to sword]

Yeah I'm aiming towards a warrior type myself.  I am just loving those killing animations.  But I doubt I'll avoid using spells altogether.  My warrior will have a couple at least.

Oh goodness, I  forgot all about being a werewolf. Man, that'll work perfectly for my Orc. I'll just transform when I'm deep in the bowels of a cave, and find myself desiring some speedy attacks.

God. This is gonna be an excrutiatingly long 24 hour wait.

I'm going to be an Argonian who can do anything somewhat good. I want about a 40% combat, 30% stealth, 30% magic use ratio. He will primarily use two handed hammers and heavy armor for combat, with a little magic to aid him if needed. He also has some skills in lockpicking because my character often likes avoiding direct conflict. All of the crafting skills will be used, and I plan on putting poison on my handcrafted and enchanted war hammers.

Also, I've planned out the first part of my journey. After scouring the beginning area for loot/quests, I'm gonna do the all-too-familiar Riverwood/golden claw quest and get that out of the way, then I'll take on the unknown. Maybe I'll head North. No.... east.... and just let things happen as they come.

Nord male battlemage named Boromir, specialising in 1 handed weapons (axe primarily), conjuration, alteration and smithing. Intends to use shouts as his primary magical offensive weapon rather than destruction. Also would rather attack up close and pesonal with his trusty axe than from a distance.

Was in the imperial legion but deserted because he had a vision to return to his homeland hence why he's in prison.

Imperial, I did dark elf for both morrowind and oblivion, but now I like to play games with a char that looks like me and makes the same decisions I would in the situation (my "canon" shep is like this).

I am going to play the stealthy way, upclose CQC if the enviorment forces me to, and a bow if the enviorment allows it.

My char is on the way to the chopping block because he took the law into his own hands and killed a gang of bad people.

inorite? This is the kind of music you want to play as your life soundtrack. Doing the dishes has never been so epic.

And as to the question about race and playstlye,  I think I have finally settled on a Breton, female, named Mina-Eris or Etaine. She’ll be a jack-of-all-trades battlemage. Still working on her backstory, I’m batting around a couple, but can’t settle on why she’d be carted off to prison.
