Post 7500! I remember when this thread was just a baby! 

Is anyone else going to use warhammers? I've seen polls where they are the least popular 2-handed weapon, and I'm curious if anyone else is using them.

Ugh... I HATE Warhammers...  I wish there were Naginata and other polearms. *cry*
Nope.  H2H, Broadswords, longswords, katana... Yep, that's all I need. ^^

Yeah, I just noticed that too. Pretty small patch if it is one.

Well, for the Xbox microsoft has set I believe a 5MB limit for game updates, so it would have to be a pretty small patch.  Especially if they plan on making other ones and getting them on the console.

Can't tell because they aren't in Third Person.  Most likely though it's just a curved sword.

Yes it's a Katana, you can tell by the hilt. I though might have been either Katana or Scimiter but when saw the hilt it is definatley a Katana without any doubt.

I might, if I find an exceptionally good one.

But part of me just wants to  score those decapitations, and that is more reasonably done with an edged weapon.  So by default, I'm gonna go in with an Axe.

One more day until release and I'm getting a little nervous about my pre-order with EB(GameStop for all you Americans). It's going to come by post but according to tracking it's not moving anywhere at the moment. I wanna get it on the 11th EB, no excuses.

As for me I think I'm just going to Go in with a Female Imperial, Nord As for the fighting magic and what have you I'll let things like that progress as the will as I move on in the game the first time through. I do like using Bows and if I find a decent one you can count on it that I'll be using it.<G> for melee it will be two handed long swords. Like the katana's but they are 2handed weapons.

BTW anyone know if quick slots are available in this game.

Weird, I followed a link someone gave from apparently australia and now whenever I go to store.steampowered.com...

It says "This item will unlock in approximately 8 hours" and shows 89.99 USD

But the steam app still says 1 day...

As for above, don't know.  But apparently you can set your Favorites for spells and use that as a quicklist to equip spells.  I hope you can do the same for weapons, but not sure.

Well now it depends on what time it is in Au. IIRC they are like 16 hours or so ahead of us. As we've still got aprox. 23hrs and 24minutes left here on the east coast to wait for the game to unlock. Damn clock is moving to slow.

I like Skyrim's -- It's simple and clean.

I also like how it disappears until one of the interfaces are affected/in use.

If that is true than that is so cool. As it means we'll be seeing more of what is in the open world instead of having the screen cluttered by other things.

Way better than the console layout.

that's a mod, not the vanilla UI for Oblivion

Apparently, yes... there are some pirated copies floating around IIRC.

There's a torrent flying around without any crack so its pretty much useless atm.
I'm buying the game so don't take this as some sort of admission.

Apparently, yes... there are some pirated copies floating around IIRC.

There aren't cracks. It's just preloaded copies out. This always happens.
