Ah damn it. With all the comments about how awesome spell-casting is, I'm debating if I want to switch back to a pure caster. I want to shoot fire and lightning from my fingertips.

Steam is taunting me, it removed the notice of how long you have. But I can't download it, also it took til today for the extra MB that were released to be downloaded. Hope this doesn't mean something's going to go wrong today.

UPS has done some magic and made sure my parts are going to arrive today. I will (attempt) to make sure I have enough free time to do a build (I KNOW I can find some hour and a half/two hour block of free time somewhere in my day today.) so that I can play when Skyrim releases. Holy ****, I might even play a cowardly sneaky Bosmer assassin at one point if that is true.

A common theme with the reviews that I've read is that companions suck a bit.

According to PCGamer: On maximum settings, it runs at 30-40 frames per second on a PC that runs Oblivion at 50-60 – a decent trade off for the increase in scenery porn.


I get constant 60fps for Oblivion on my laptop at 1080p with all settings maxed (no AA allowed if you use HDR), hopefully this means I will get 30-40 fps for Skyrim at 1080p, all settings maxed.
