.......
It's the very first village you go to(unless you completely ignored the storyline after escaping helgen)....

I just bought the game but can't play until tommorow. I did have a couple of questions though:
What's dialogue like? More Oblivion or Fallout?
Is speech a worthwhile skill at all this time around?
What's the word on the guilds?
I've been hearing some bad stuff about dual-weilding, but I really wanted to try it for RP reasons but is viable at all?
Thanks in advance.

1. It's more like Fallout 3, but kinda limited IMHO. For example there was one instance where guy asked me to fetch this and that without the option of me saying no.
2. I hear it apparently helps your intimidate and persuasion options in dialogues
3. There are a few. The usual drill, mages, thieves, fighters, just with different names I guess. So far, I've joined the warrior one. It has an interesting storyline I won't spoil.
4. There is dual wielding. You can combine pretty much every one handed weapon with a shield, spell, staff, torch or another weapon. The only drawback(and reason I prefer sword and shield to it) is the inability to block.

I noticed that the presets actually utilize some different mouth and eye shapes than you get with the sliders.
I actually like a few of the presets for Female Dark Elf, Female Wood Elf, and Female High Elf.Druss99 wrote...

Level 9 ****es! I'm taking a break from leveling Restoration, it's at 40 and I have the perk that also restores Stamina with healing spells. I should be set for the first dragon I come across.
I just need to figure out which weapon perks I want. Oh, where is the first forge opportunity and can you buy forging materials? I am saving a perk for improving the steel sword I have.
Riverwood and yes. I think you can buy almost everything you need off the guy working the forge, the one we saw in all the early videos. He even teaches you how to use them by getting you to build things for him.

I didn't really like the CC. The Bald Brotherhood was poorly represented and I couldn't get a face I overly liked but I wear a hood anyway so its ok.RPGamer13 wrote...

Just press F12
Steam has a screenshot function. After you exit the game, Steam will open a window with all the screenshots you took and ask if you want to upload them to your Steam page.

Oh ok thanks for telling me that I'll give it a shot and see what happens next time I'm running through the game. Got to see someone now about another part of a quest so it might just be soon.<LOL> Now would you like it to be bi-pedial, 4 leg or does it matter?<LOL>

The biggest problem with dual wielding is that you can't block.Ferris95 wrote...

Yet another lazy console port by a AAA dev. This game is complete trash.

How's the actual story and immersiveness of the characters?
I don't really care about the graphics or the open world, but all of the reviews on Metacritic orgasm at the opportunity to pull of immature hijinks rendered at a high resolution instead of anything on the story itself.
Are there subtleties? Did it make you want to move forward? Simple? Complex? How's the voice acting?
It seems from everything I've seen that I'd get bored quickly since the combat system is so simple without a good story to drive me.
