Two things about that: 1) If you sneak begind the victim and if you won't be spotted then you do extra damage. 2) The finish moves are random and cannot be actiivated at will.spiros9110 wrote...
Hey guys, got a question. If I sneak up behind someone can I assassinate them, like in the trailers where the dude cuts the guys throat. Also, do I need a specific weapon or level to learn to do this?
Oh okay, so it's random, that sucks. Thanks dude, appreciate it!

I'm liking the favorites system a lot. Saves me a ton of hassle.

So, yeah, there are various people in the towns that you can pay or ask to follow you. Hell, after you get the first shout, you're appointed someone who you can ask to follow you any time.
Is the Annoying Fan going to show up again? I actually grew attached to the little guy.

So how is the companion system? You can ask pretty much anyone to follow you right?
Not even close lol. There are people you can hire in each city and some might follow you cause of a quest or they like or some other reason.
I don't know what its like I quit right after I got mine so I'm not commenting on it but I don't see myself wanting one to be honest. These kinds of games I prefer running around without a shadow.
Though if its like Fallout: New Vegas then I wouldn't mind the company.

Played for 3 hours now. I've been killed 5 times in Bleak Falls Barrow by Draugr. Sven is pretty helpful! God this game is awesome.

I managed to get through there without dying at level 3 I went inside but I did come close once to dying due to not keeping eye on my stamina, I didn't know Sven could come with either though the guy doesn't like me to be honest. due to certain reason.
So far I have found no problems killing anything though I am not playing on hardest setting, just normal since I want to get used to game then switch to new playthrough on hardest once got hang of it.

Not pretty much anyone. But there's a mercenary voiced by Meredith's VA, she's a Dark Elf, and you have to pay her 500. There's a guy in Riverrun who you do a quest for and if you don't tell the girl the truth about the letter, he will follow you for free and all you have to do is ask.

Ah really? One of the preview for skyrim had the guy ask a random quest character (the elf in the romeo and juliet esq quest) to follow him and he did. Guy was even immortal due to him being needed for a quest.

I had someone offer their help but I declined for now. I noticed you can later approach him and ask for him to follow you. The banter and dialog is good...appropriate responses right on point from choices made in accordance to those choices. Haven't seen if they are useful yet, but I prefer to trek alone anyways. Anyone trek high up in a blizzard yet?

I figure that a companion might be more of a hindrance than a help but its for roleplaying reasons you know? The cold tundra wastes get lonely.

Hahaha- so I'm level 2 and just start strolling around Whiterun and I start chasing after an elk that I had been hunting. So I hit it with an arrow and chase after it. The elk starts running up some stone steps so I keep after it only to stop once I see 2 giants chilling by a campfire. The elk keeps on running straight to the giants, who promptly boot the elk about a mile into the sky.
But then they turn towards me and start chasing after me. I run for my life cause there is no way I can take one giant on, let alone two. So I run for a river, hoping they won't cross. Well, one giant gives up and goes back but another chases me down to the riverbed. I make it across the river and look back to see the giant stopped and staring down at the ground.
What is the giant looking at? A MUDCRAB. The mudcrab valiantly strutted up to the giant and started kicking the **** out of it. The giant was awestruck at the majesty of the mudcrab, not being able to comprehend what was happening. So I sit back, eating my baked potato and fresh apple and cabbage stew watching the great melee. And with a mighty thud, the giant collapsed to its knees and the mudcrab reigned triumphant.
I love Skyrim:wizard:

I don't know why but that amused me and made me laugh. I was like "Aha! I knew it you sneaky little lady spying on me!"
I also stole something from someones house and then while walking about the NPCs were like "Did you hear [x] got robbed?" I was like well *evil grin in my mind thinking I know (giggles)* then they said things like "I feel sorry for him to lose something like [y]". I think the AI is quite good to be honest.

Not sure what you mean. I've been going through the steps to unlock dragons. Then I will start roaming around and trying to find dragons and the words required for shouts.RageGT wrote...
LOL... We started on opposite direction then. Riverwood is the first place I met, still at level 2, after leaving the tutorial. But I followed my brethen, not the imperial scum!
Right at the start of the game, after the Dragon attack, you have your first choice. Either you follow the imperial guard or the stormcloak prisioner out of the keep. The Stormcloak's exit will take you to Riverwood. It's very close to the keep but from that exit.
If you want to reach it fast, just fast travel back to the keep where it all started and go NW (I think).
The "Imperial Scum" as you call it Rage is also made up of a lot of nords.
The country is divided.
