I have around 6000 at level 8. I don't buy much, but I also don't loot much equipment since I'm using heavy armor and two handed weapons so I get encumbered pretty easily.ErichHartmann wrote...
Approximately how much gold does everyone have right now? I feel like a pauper with around 2600.
I do think the dungeons are built for you to tackle them with a henchman. I'm getting pwned in forts, at least in the inner keep.

so... again, I'm a Thane of Whiterun and the jarl told me that I can go ahead and buy a house there.... who do I talk to to get that done?
The steward guy in dragonreach... forgot his name.

Well they wont' be doing that against me because I work for them now, muahahaha:devil:KotorEffect3 wrote...
The dark brotherhood sent an assassin after me. That was kind of cool.
Oh by the way, has anyone else got the invisible spiderwebs glitch? Often in dungeons I'll just encounter and invisible barrier which I can slash through and it has the cobwebs breaking special effect when I destroy it.

I find it strange a DB assassin attacked me at level 7. I haven't done anything notable enough yet to warrant an assassination attempt, lol.

Sh!t. I am done already with this game - after 1 hour.
No stats like Str Cha Int ... etc ?
Should have read more about the new system before i bought it. Wasted 32 euro for nothing.
C'mon! The stats system here is titled "Perks". You want STR? Create a char with high base STR (Race Based) and go for Health and +%DMG on hits. DEX? Same thing. Every Race has its bonuses. Every "perk" too. INT is for High Elves and their snobish Justiciar... death to them all!!!
It's an awesome game and system too. You never played any TES games, did you?
---
And the caves!!! OMG what wonderful caves. Not one similar to the other too. Guess they've learned from Oblivion recycled caves! But that blasted Draugr Lord (or whatever is the right name) sob with his disarming shout! GRRRR. That was a killing animation I really enjoyed seeing when my Greatsword impaled him through his belly!
Master difficulty does feel easier than Oblivion's though. Or perhaps the game is a lot more balanced. There are always some Snowy Saber Cats to remind me of the frailty of the flesh and bones!
PS.: I have some 5,000 gp at level 11 but I spent a lot buing ingots for crafting. I'ma good smithy now! =)

The Dark Brotherhood knows what you're up to. At least for now, they must perceive you as a threat.
Conjuration is pretty solid even at lower levels. My first creature a fire atronach? Word!

I like the small touches, like if you dump some stuff on the ground, a kid runs up later and says 'hey, you dropped this' and gives you an item back. Not that I wanted it, but it's nice to see them do things like that.
I also like the deathblows you do sometimes, they were a neat touch.

Has anyone's character been victim of an enemies finishing move? I heard that the enemies use them, but it was unclear if they use it on the player character.
Yip, its happened to me a few times mostly from higher level enemies weilding two handed weapons. Damn my light armour and dual wielding ways.

Yeah, I've been the victim of one hit finishing moves inflicted by bandit captains with two handed weapons.

LOL seriously ? DID you ?
As far as I remember in previous TES games there were main attributes and skills based on those.
Just tell me there was no Strength for example and it didn't affect your melee damage.
Maybe I just played different version of Morrowind, Oblivion ... who knows.

Markarth is my new favourite place with all the Morrowind songs.
I'm headed there myself. Want to stay there a good while after exploring and opening up a bunch of quests. Plus, (spoilers) this one questline I'm on kind of starts out near there.
