I'm not playing as a warrior, but isn't sword & shield the better choice? You won't do as much damage, but there's a perk that lets you block elemental damage with your shield. And a perk that negates arrows.
What does a two-handed or dual-wielding fighter do against a mage with frost magic?
I believe all the Block skills work with Two-Handed. But I haven't tested them all out. I actually meant to but have been side tracked. But so far I confirm that Bash and Increased Movement While Block works with Two-Handed weapons. I haven't tried against a magic enemy or an archer.

So, I was jsut reading some reviews. Some good, soe not so good, from players. One complaint was that on PC the controls are clunky and plainly designed for a console. Are they really that bad?
Also, how is the voice acting? I still shudder thinking about oblivions 4 people voicing every NPC in the game. heh
People saying that are talking utter BS, it's not true at all. I think the controls work really well and usually, I suck really bad using a mouse and keyboard. But I don't feel that with this one. The shortcuts are aptly assigned, J for Journal, M for Map, etc.
Also, the keys for Auto Movement, Run/Walk (Left Shift Key), Run Always On/Off (Cap Lock), and Sheathe Weapon and for picking stuff up are all placed so you can easily hit them with your pointer or ring finger. So, I don't understand the complaints. It's not any different than it was in Oblivion the short time I tried the PC version.
People even say you can assign Favorites to number keys, I haven't tried it yet. But it would certainly be faster to assign Dual Wielded weapons and spells to them.
It's also easy to change the key assignments: either hit Enter when highlighting one or click it. I actually find it easier with an actual mouse than my mousepad. Use the Mouse Wheel to scroll through the items quickly. I take it on the console you have to use the Right Stick? Unless that's used to rotate the items, then I don't know how you can easily choose equipment with a controller as opposed to the mouse wheel.
Although I encountered the mouse glitch during Character Creation once, all of a sudden I couldn't move the character's head around for some reason one time, but I could move the sliders and change the categories.

Again, it's not so much that the controls are clunky (they really aren't) as much as they are a steep learning curve. I still find myself looking over at the game manual to help me remember which key to press for the more complicated actions.
And I still don't know how to use my Berserker rage. I've got it Favorited, but nothing happens when I select it.
Z Button. Racial abilities and Shouts are assigned to it. So you can't have a Racial Ability AND a Shout at the same time. I know, crazy, especially since I don't think you can activate them from the menu.
That's probably my only complaint.
