I was paying attention while sneaking to a group of spiders when all of a sudden I saw a bandit flying by to my left. It turned out a group of bandits were attacking two giants herding mammoths. It was fun to watch them being slaughtered.
Its fun to get things to fight each other. Thats why I still love the Rage spells. But also fun to do it the old fashioned way. Trickery. Like when I just lured a dragon into a fort of evil mages.

Those are cool moments. It's fun that the game allows that.Cutlass Jack wrote...

When I say skip over perks, I mean that training the skill needed for the perk, and then getting it without having to put valuable perk points in perks I don't need. I also really don't want to join the mages guild.
When the creation kit comes out I am going to try my hand at modding lore friendly necromancy and perhaps a new house to practice in.
Necromancy looks to be improved over oblivion but it still doesn't reach what we have read in books. Necromancers don't summon zombies. D:<

I went back to Azura's shrine to see what would happen after I choose the Black Star. Not much. The disciple wasn't happy, but I wasn't attacked. One thing I noticed, though. There was a dead horse half leaning on the altar. I have no idea where that one came from.

The only thing I seem to dislike with the game is the lack of other races we seen, just about everyone is a Nord, although I suppose this does make sense being Skyrim, it didn't really matter in Cyrodill as it's a more rich country, so more people would go there. But still I would enjoy seeing more other races in the citys and towns of Skyrim. Apart from that though I cant seem to find any faults with this game (and thats not even a real fault), I haven't even had a single glitch yet!
Yup I agree. Its lonely being a Argonian in these snow covered mountains. In my travels I met 3 Argonian's so far and 1 tried to rob me and another was a bandit trying to kill me right off.
I met Khajit camp outside Harkarth but thats about it.

Well, yes. Though she's rude and looks like she'll eat your heart out.
Haha...rudeness is the High Elf's mating call

Yeah, I know what you mean. At least the college is full of High Elf's, but still that's about it.

Ugh anyone else getting overloaded with random and tiny quests? I have to stop talking to people for a while, its getting hard to stay on track.
Not even the slightest. I love all the quests i'm getting and you can go at your own pace. If I don't wanna do one I just ignore it an move on. One gripe about this is the miscellanous list is getting big and for a while I didn't know you could track them individually so that made it hard to keep track. But this much content makes me giddy to get back into it (yes I used giddy) for once exploring the game world isn't the only thing I'm excited to do in a Bathesda game. Now getting a quest and finishing it is a treat. True christmas is this game lol.

That's odd. I see other races everywhere. There's even a town where race conflicts are everywhere.
Keep in mind that I haven't been hardly anywhere. I haven't gone anywhere close to the north or east side of the map. My travels have been around Whiterun and Harkarth and I am just NOW heading north east. So I'm not saying there aren't any other races just feels lonely being a Argonian lol.

Playing as a Dark Elf and I got attacked when I was very low level by a gang of Nords that kept screaming "Skyrim for the Nords" and chased me all over Falkreath Hold for a couple days. They weren't bandits, can't remember what they were called.

And you can find good story writing in an ES game, they're just not the main plot. I was shocked by how *good* the companions story line was, for example.
If anything, Bethesda's writing has improved tremendously. It's certainly not Bioware's typical level of writing, but they've definitely improved alot since Oblivion. Both the Companions and Dark Brotherhood plots were pretty fantastic. Even the main quest is interesting.

Ah, I'm not too far in yet, but so far I've only seen two Argonians and about four Kajiit, and I've only seen one Orc who didn't attack me on sight. like I said it doesn't really matter though, and well I'm not too far in, lol.

I think they were mercenaries. Happened to me too. Also playing a dark elf. I was also attacked in another town. I have no idea why. Most likely a fanatic racist. This was a town with lots of racial conflicts. There is also a guy there who wants to challange you to a fist fight. If you give in and a guard is near then you will be fined. The Nord not of course.naughty99 wrote...

One thing I thought was cool, though - when the DB assassin came after me, she was trying to backstab me. I turned around, to witness a saber tooth cat pounce on and kill the assassin, who in turn got my companion's axe in the back. It was glorious.
