And hey, if you can manage to get your Heavy Armor skill up enough, you can put get a perk that makes Heavy Armor weightless.

I enjoy the game but for lots of different reasons, other than I should have. All the marketing of the game was crap that doesnt stand in the game.
Combat clunky, AI a disaster at times, oversimplification - character developement... and the GODDAMNED RETARDED UI! Lack of key binding...
There is no hope for the PC I see... and I blame the consoles. There is no other explanation.
Slimgrin you didn't have to get on your alt to complain... we'd accept you no matter what!
Just got to Winterhold and loving the mage college so far. They really made it so it felt like a real school. I might actually focus on a storyline... For the most part I been going around the far edge of the map ever since I left Harkarth. Great way to get a lay of the land and explore but my quest log is huge now lol.

That's why Light armour is best for a warrior, imo. Especially with the stamina advantages. Heavy armour is for battlemages.Yrkoon wrote...
It looks like Ebony full plateWell, that just seems silly to me, as it punishes you for having a decent armor rating, and you know, being a good warrior all around (blocking, repositioning in combat, killing people quickly). If what you're saying is true, I should probably dump my *good* armor and just find some cheap iron gear to put on... and then stop blocking, and pretty much fight like an idiot. I'll take more damage that way, and thus raise my Heavy armor skill faster.naughty99 wrote...

I have a question. Can someone explain to me the mechanic behind raising your heavy armor skill? It seems to be entirely random, and strictly based on you letting yourself get hit, without blocking.
Yes, it's not quite random, rather it's supposed to correlate to learning how to survive attacks while wearing heavy armor, so the higher damage you take, the more your skill improves.
this.
i take my flawless scaled armor over any of your bull**** heavy armor any day skyrim!

Rage- NIce looking armor. You made that set? You say it's ebony which is light armor looks good but I prefer heavy. IMHO thought that the Daedric armor looked cool in Oblivion hoping to find it in Skyrim as well.
Soul cool- Those foresworn can be such a pain in the rear end. Many have died by my blades and bow.
Yrkoon- I think that is the only way for which you can raise heavy armor. I think that I'm at Level 20 or so and my heavy armor is only at like 30.
AngryFrozen Water- Well I know there are glass bows in the game as I've already found one.<G> I'm looking for Daedric Armor myself.
Soul cool Where is that Who and where is that master of Heavy Armor locacted at? Anyone else find any Heavy Armor trainers.
Bethesda's forum site is a pain in the A** to use. I guess thats why I don't go over there much. Heck made two posts over there in one day and they are both buried. One thing for which it is not is user friendly.
Was trying to find out if anyone has done the "Frostmere Crypt" as of yet. You see there is a lady named Eisa "Blackthorn" standing just up top of the steps staring at the entrance. I tried talking to her with and without weapons drawn and all she says is "What do you want little Elf. I just so wanted to gut her. If she only knew that this "Little Elf" as she call me has numerous kills under her belt including 15 or so dragons she wouldn't be calling me little elf. She'd be polishing my boots. I so want to run my swrod throuh her sorry A**.<EG>
Curious as to improving weapons and armor can you only do that if you have perks in cerain skills.
Also does anyone know if enchantments stack? I.E. a Helm of 40% magic resistance and a ring of plus 10 % magic resistance.

LPPrince thats what I'm trying to do with my Heavy armor thats one of the reasons for which I've got 12 perks for which I've yet to use. want to use them in Heavy armor but can't get it to go up. Anyone find any trainers for heavy Armor if so let me know where they are located and who they are Please.
Well I'm solo again Lost Lydia in one of the dungeons. She was such great companion. Saved my but a couple of times.

I just bought myself a war hound called Vigilant. Kinda cute in an ugly sort of way.
Where can you buy a warhound?
There was a guy wandering around Markath Stables who sells them.
My dog bugged out on me though, I forgot to feed and everyone automatically wnt hostile on me in Winterhold but I was ins Stealth mode so they didn't see me, however they did see my dog so they attacked him. But even after I had a drink and they turned friendly again, my dog was stuck in hostile mode and just sits there growling. I can't interact with him.
Those pony mods look weird, not sure if want.

My Lydia is MIA again. We got seperated During the final main quest for the Mage college and she's not shown up yet. Maybe she ran off with one of the undead and they are living happily ever after.
Steph Had that happen to me. Only I use bows and Lydia step in front of me right when i let the shot go and she got it right to the back of the head. Reload.<LOL>
Now speaking of companions if I were to leave Lydia @ my home in Whiterun could I take on another companion? Was thinking of the one that you get from doing the Azura star quest and was wondering what would happen if I added her as a companion and Lydia shows back up? Or does that mean that there is no chance of her showing back up if I do this?

I can't marry Lydia because it's bugged and I'm very saddened by this. Anyone heard if Bethesda is going to fix it in the next update?
Why bother?
Getting married in Skyrim is borderline retarded and makes Fable's way plausible.
And companions are just a waste.
There's almost no interaction with them outside of giving them commands and to carry extra stuff.
Fallout 3 did it better( though still not too good) and Fallout New Vegas( more like brilliant then just better).

What's that essential thing to do in Bethesda games again? Something about saving...
I haven't had anyone die on me yet (other than my stupid horse that can't seem to keep out of trouble if it isn't parked half a mile away), but Farkas once turned on me when one too many slice missed the undead. Silly wolf.

Same here, she was overwhelmed by low-level draugrs in one of the dungeons. I tried to bring her back but that just turned her into a zombie

I'm playing on Adept( Normal), though thing to increase it since game is starting to be very easy once I hit level 20( now I'm 25).
Cause my horse still didn't die, not counting falling from cliffs that is.
