No, it's just beef stew but I followed Cook-Cook's recipe and used beer and jalapeno.

The one thing I'm wishing for in the alchemy system- a marker that tells you that you've already tasted something.  I keep tasting falmer ears and sketchy mushrooms when I don't have to.  lol

I think Lydia has the same voice as Sarah Lyons from Fallout 3.

I think Cosnach might be voiced by the actor who played Varric.

Just recruited J'zargo in my team. A very arrogant Kahjiit, but I sure as hell like him.

I hated the guy at first. "Arch-mage this, arch-mage that". Though I just can't resist that damn accent. Reminds me of Zevran.

Skyrim has taught me exactly how easily distracted I am.

I don't think I've -ever- made it to a quest objective that I intended to go to without at least a dozen detours as shiny things pop up on my compass. Someday, I'll actually finish a questline. Someday..

I think that journalist from game informer said it best: Skyrim... You're Dragonborn, embarking on an epic quest to- ooh a butterfly.

Even plants are interesting in the game.

Especially when you can zoom in on plants and things you can lootB)

The only way I've been able to figure that out is to look at the effects. If they all say "unknown", you know you haven't tasted it yet.

I keep thinking that Falmers look like some of the elves from Darktown in DA2. Heheh.Image IPB

Question time people!

So who has been your favourite/least favourite follower so far?

My favourite has been Lydia. She is an excellent companion, great tank, like chatting with her, and I like her voice.

My least favourite was Sven. He was so annoying. At first I didn't wanna recruit him, but I thought it would be cool to have someone young to follow you through advetures. Like mentor and student relationship, though I didn't feel anything that with him. I sent him into a dragon's nest. May his soul find hell.

^Cosnach was a good tank, but if I was wearing the Amulet of Mara, he drove me nuts with his, "I'd marry you twice" dialogue. Image IPB

I dumped him for Lydia, but my next one is going to be Mjoll the Lioness. I'm curious to see how she is as a companion.

I've only had Cosnach, Barbas and Delphine accompany me so far. Cosnach was kind of interesting because you could give him gifts of alcohol, but it would have been better if he had some sort of specific response to your gifts.

I'm hoping to find a stealthy Khajiit or Argonian companion who isn't afraid to commit crimes for me, unlike Lydia and Cosnach. Any more Khajiit options other than the guy in Winterhold?

I can't wait till I get some ebony or daedric arrows, I manged to buy 1 daedric arrow off of the fletcher in solitude, and maybe 20 or so off of the skyforge blacksmith, and the normal blacksmith as well.

I have a daedric bow fully upgraded and want some black arrows damnit, all my armor is dark, all my weapons is dark, but I have green freaking arrows.

Anyway, I am 100% confident that this game will carry me to and even past ME3. Tons of content. What? DLC? Awesome. What? Mods? Even more awesome.

I've had Lydia most of this game, but decided it was time for some male company and picked up Benor last night.  It's adorable that he says "you've been a good friend" because you agreed to pound him to a pulp.  The Nord mating call apparently is trash talk during a beatdown.

I don't think he's as good a fighter as Lydia, though.  She's pretty tough.

I love the town of Mathor generally.  Jarl Ingrod is awesome.

I hope the DLC will include one or two new companions with interesting backstories and side quests.

The companion quests in Fallout New Vegas were very interesting, for example.

And this is definitely the most beautiful armor set for me, from all pics I've seen here, and will be my final one too. I too play 99.9% on 3rd person view and armor appearance has a major part on it.

*snip*

That is nice.  What is it?

Full set of Ebony Armor. =)

Its just astounding when you look at the Steam numbers for the game and how many people are playing it.

I haven't had the smoothest ride with Skyrim(had to mod and tweak the game for hours to make it playable and enjoyable), but it delights me to see an RPG dominating the Call of Duty beast. 3-4 times as many people playing Skyrim on Steam at any given time. And consistenly outsold it too. PC gamers know where it's at.

Any word on how many copies of Skyrim sold on consoles? I read the article that was linked earlier today, but it was a bit vague in that regard.

I have to say it again, the NPC ambiant responses to what's going on around them is such an amazing touch of flavor.

-I'm an orc, and in the middle of a fight with an orc bandit I hear him say: "time to show you how a REAL orc warrior fights".

-I have a flaming weapon. I unsheathed it in Whiterun, and heard a little kid say "Mom said we shouldn't play with fire!"

-if you wear imperial or stormcloak armor, people will  comment on it
-if you walk around  naked, they will comment on it.

lol yeah I've had the guards tell me to not burn anything while I'm in town several times now.

One time I accidently used my shout just outside Solitude and a guard came up to me and said "please don't do that again your making people nervous"

Man this game is awesome, I just got done playing a game of tag with some kids in Solitude.

The random NPC comments are just amazing. I had just got done turning into a werewolf and when I came back to the city someone said have you been playing with your hound you smell like a wet dog lol.

Over 2 million Xbox, about 1 million PS3 and around 500k PC packaged retail discs.

It is not known how many PC digital downloads were sold, but generally the digital downloads tend to sell more than PC retail copies, I would guess anywhere from 500,000 - 1 million PC digital downloads.

Once we argonians finish with the dumner the rest of you bloody elves are next.

Who are you calling we?  You'll probably betray and try to kill me like the rest of our species.

Rage where are said stones if I could ask?

The Mage, Thief, Warrior stones are close to Riverwood.

There are 13 of these in total I believe, spread out all over Skyrim. I've found about 5 or 6 of them. When you are exploring you will see a black pillar looking icon on your compass, just keep going forward adn you will find it.

The Serpent Stone is on an island south of Winterhold.  The Stormcloak quests give you a marker.  I found the Apprentice stone near Solitude.

The lady stone is on a tiny little island in the middle of the lake southwestern part of the map.
