I'm too lazy to search this thread. Anyone know how to cure lycanthropy? Got it a while ago and loved using it, but Now my Normal self has great armor, a great weapon and about 100 cure disease potions, so the werewolf power is no longer useful.
PS: poor Falkreath. A dragon has attacked the the town the last 3 times I was there LOL
Follow the companions quest line, you ll get to a chance to cure it forever.

They're also really nice to travel on when you're over encumbered.

By the way. I stole a horse and decided to ride it around for a while. I discovered that they're excellent rock climbers. They can scale mountains. They can travel where you can't go on foot.

I've lost two like that. Actully I've lost four horses. Stupid horses.

Does this have to do with the start of the main quest?

Quick question for you folks which I'm convused about. Earlier in the game I got a letter delivered to me by a courier. In my inventory it shows up as "Courier's Letter" and it starts off "To our respectable inversror,. And then it mentions something about a need more me for the expediton and in some rift or some such like that there. Anyone else been aboout to figure this out? After all its got me reading it, scratching my head and wondering WTF?!
Does this have to do with the start of the main quest?
The Rift is the name of the hold where Riften is the capital city.

The only "fix" that has been seen to work (And its not 100% guaranteed) is to play through bonechill in windowed mode.
Thanks Nash, I'll give that a shot if I continue to experience issues.
Nashiktal just wanted to thank you again for the windowed suggestion. Was able to make it through Bonechill and killed the dragon there shortly after, only experienced one crash during that foray. All seems to be stable since.

Other Thoughts:
The game installed it's 5.5gb file in under five minutes. The controls were intuitive, so easy to learn. In less than ten minutes you should have the console controls down. It it has only frozen twice while I was playing. I haven't come across a glitched or bugged quest. It does lag on autosave, but it's not a unique annoyance, many games unfortunately lag on autosave. It rarely lags outside autosave though.
This is my first Elder Scrolls game and I didn't even care about playing it unitl about three days before it was released. Based on this experience I will buy the next on in the series. Beyond the more technical aspects it's a great game. GOTY in my opinion.

Go back to the final dungeon where you help Kadlok and return to that final room. If you still have any of the Witch heads from that previous quest, just throw them into that magic blue fire.

I'm a weapon smith upgraded to Ancient Nordic Swords and set them both to my favorites. Both are listed (together) under my favorites section, but everytime I try to equip both, it removes one sword from my favorites menu. The same thing started happening with a pair of glass swords I made just recently; the game won't let me equip both unless I go to the inventory screen.
Anyone else run into this problem?

However, I stumbled upon a dragon after I had completely run out of arrows. After 10 times dying and reloading, I managed to kill it by getting him to follow me and tricking him into attacking some giants while I backstabbed him from behind.

Happy-daiz I By chance are you female or playing a female charcter?<not to get personal> But that will teach them Justiciars for not letting you in.<G> BTW where'd you find that dragon den with the shout?
This thread moves quickly when you're playing and sleeping!
Just to answer your question, I am female, playing a female. Those Justiciars should have known better, and just let my little Breton mage in! On a sidenote, I wish she was taller.
I'm not sure which den it was; I'll look tonight when I get home.

Probably. It's just every road I travel down on my horse, I will eventually find a witch and a flame atronach fighting on the side of the road. XD
Every time! It's hilarous. "Oh there they are, again." LOL
I am beginning to think its an allegory for good and evil.

Not because I'm stupid or game glitched, but in choice making.
I'm stuck in that Silver-Blood mine prison( do to quest and decided to go peacefully instead of fighting my way out) and have a choice to join some prisoners who were put there for rebellion by killing some guy in prison or kill their leader and take his key.
Thing is that reason why are they in cell and doing all that stuff is because leaders there were complete douchebags for years by doing worse things then them and I would gladly end their lives.
So yeah, I have no idea what to do now.
This prisoners went too far and deserve what they got, but they are a lesser evil then those who put them there.
So what to do?
Help them to escape, massacre city guards and possibly( not sure since I don't know does it happens) take over the city?
Or just kill their leader and escape on my own while those on rule remain unpunished?

This was one of the first quests I did, and the decision was hard to make, but the loot for the path I chose resulted in my making my Breton look hawt (armor loot).
In retrospect, I'm kind of wishing I had chosen the other path, because I pay for my choice every time I visit the Reach area.

Fall backwards on it.
or try reloading. Sometimes you have to take your armor off and put it back on.
