I never figured out exactly what happened, but these NPCs keep telling me all kinds of things that I did when blacked out. Today I met a woman tells me I owe her 2,000 gold for a wedding ring I bought for some woman who I got engaged to while completely blacked out drunk.
This is getting to be a problem. However, I'm curious who this "fiance" might be. Hope she's a keeper.

Some time ago I got into a drinking match with a guy in a tavern and woke up in a completely different city with some lady yelling at me for messing up her temple.

do dragons randomly spawn in the game world or are they only scripted?
Sometimes people send you to kill dragons. Sometimes the show up and attack you, or cities that you're in. But I've seen Dragons in the distance just flying around mountains. I've seen them fighting with other creatures as well.

This happened to me too! Except I haven't had any more info about the night other than what the priestess told me. And now I'm off to find the jerk that started it!
@Tobi - too funny!

Surprised how many random dungeons have significant set pieces like this.

The mods for this game will be phenomenal.
Also found a console code for what I think is an unobtainable piece of armor.

The true Conan the Barbarian roleplaying begins now!

I just did that quest last night! Despite getting killed repeatedly from that main Draugr (sp?), I took time to look around and enjoy the pretty blue lights.

Reading books is important, too, since it can start new quests. I love the one researching the old Nord legends.

Cause I know I am eventually going to run out of unique dungeons and that makes me sad.

Of course the writing is well done by Bethesda's writers, they actually surprised me after Fallout 3 and Oblivion's writing. It's just that I'd love to see something with New Vegas quality writing in TES world. So much more can be done with Companions and such.
Eh, I didn't like new vegas' story all that much. Although I will agree about companions.

I could imagine Alinor with a giant magical city. It would be awesome.

They're the "X" on the Skyrim cloth map if you have one. For instance, the Lady Stone is in the middle of Lake Ilinalta.Nashiktal wrote...
Hey guys a quick question, I keep hearing about these birth stones that replace the star signs from oblivion, but I havn't seen one. Did I miss them or are you just supposed to stumble on them?
Otherwise, read the "Guide to Skyrim" in-game book that will mark most of them on your map.

The problem is that Obsidian can't build an interesting game world and dungeons like Bethesda. The ideal would be some cooperation between the two.
If I could somehow take Bethesda, Obsidian and Bioware and fuse them together I would do so in a heartbeat then shortly die after playing the perfect game with amazing gameplay, factions and characters.

If there was a The Elderscrolls New Vegas. It better take place in the either Hamerfell or the Aldmeri Dominion.
The Dominion is massive, meaning the game would be an even more ridiculously compressed version of the country than usual.
