Seriously, these Dragon Attacks are getting out of hand, FAR too frequent. I can't go anywhere without a dragon attacking me.
Huh, dragons are still fairly rare in my game. I've only just now gone to the Greybeards after 50+ hours but the random dragon attacks were pretty frequent early on but for the past 20 or so hours I don't think I've seen many. Some will fly around in the distance but thats about it.

Frequent dragon attacks? Oh dear, have i opened a pandoras box by finally starting the main quest line? I thought it was about time since im level 33 and 50 odd hours in, maybe i should have kept doing random quests instead >.<
They really aren't that tough for the most part and for me only really show up every couple of hours so far. Rarely you might get two in quick succession or two at the same time but personally I wouldn't call them that frequent. The hardest part I find is getting their attention to engage me in combat, apparently "Come at me, bro." doesn't translate to dragon tongue very well.

The Archdemon's soul would probably corrupt him:?SavesTheDay wrote...
I don't know if anyone has asked this yet, but, what do you think would happen if a Dragon Born killed an archdemon?

Interesting...I don't think anything would happen, because an archdemon is basically a high dragon that's been possessed with an Old God. So when it's killed, it is released...it only goes to the Wardens because they have the taint within them, and it recognizes that. It's not the soul of a dragon, it's an Old God trapped in a deagon's body.
I think.

I did. The Nedes came from Atmora but it is debateable if they were the first humans in Tamriel. There were also tribes like the Kothringi.monkeycamoran wrote...

"Nords are also natural seamen, and have benefited from nautical trade since their first migrations across the sea from Atmora."
EDIT: If you mean that the first humans were NOT Nedes from Atmora then you're probably right. Like I said, other tribes.

This ancient account of Cyrodiil under Ayleid rule uncovers for the
first time the existence of humans who hail from neither Yokuda nor
Atmora: the indigenous tribes of Cyrod.
This is from your own link.
The article provides an alternative view of Nedic history.

I was thinking this. The Keptu and Kothringi were a couple of those tribes.
EDIT: Nede is not synonymous with human. It means an immigrant from Atmora. So those Cyrodilic tribes were NOT Nedic.

I thought the Old Gods were dragons? If there is no Warden around when someone "kills" the archdemon the soul goes to the nearest darkspawn and the whole thing starts over, the reason a Warden has to kill the archdemon is that the taint is the only thing that can destroy an archdemon's soul. I think.

The Nedes are presented as yet another of these groups, and no mention
is made of their having come from Atmora. Here, it can be surmised that
the Nedic people are indigenous, and racially unrelated to those of
Atmoran descent.
What the guy who wrote the "Adabal-A" really said.
And for the last time (uh huh), Nedes != Atmorans. That's just shoddy scholarship from a bygone regime.

That confuses me. Nedes originally meant "Immigrant from Atmora". Lore changes, I guess. I stand corrected.monkeycamoran wrote...

It's an alternative viewpont from the "official" Imperial viewpoint. Skyrim doesn't dispute the official view either.
virumor knows the Nedes are indigenous idea because he reads the esoteric stuff that comes out of the TES lore forum.
But, it's consistent with all humans being from Tamriel originally. That's why Ysgramor's trip is called the "Song of Return."

I think I was fixed on the idea of "Nedes=Atmorans" from something in Daggerfall. "The nords are a race of tall, powerful humans descended from Nedes bla bla bla". That's obvious. Daggerfall's Lore has been rewritten in later games.monkeycamoran wrote...

You know you still could be fixed to that idea, if you want to.
As I said, it's an alternate viewpoint.
