Well it's a matter of taste, I hate that spiky death lord look with a passion. I refuse to look like a porcupine, no matter how good the stats. Same with the spiky swords. I will stick with my battered-looking steel and my war axes.Yrkoon wrote...
The only problem I have with the looks of ebony armor is that it's a little to the bulky/box-y side. it almost looks like full plate armor from Neverwinter Nights. Daedric, on the other hand is elegant, slim, and makes your warrior look like a mean S.O.B.
Hate the dragon armor look, too. Man I hope the modders come up with some better stuff.

Someone is not right in the head. That was positively disturbing.

I'm going to go back to pretending this conversation never took place now. Good day.

Well... this necromancer with his dead milk maiden fantasies is pretty weird too. I expected Falanu Hlaalu to jump in and ask for the fine for necrophilia in Skyrim.

I've not chosen a side in the civil war yet. At an earlier point I rode up to Fort Greymoor, near Whiterun and found some Whiterun guards fighting bandits (who were occupying the fort). I helped out but after clearing the outside I had to return to Whiterun to sell off loot. I came back later and cleared out the interior of the fort, got the (cleared) text show up on the map and then went on my way. Some time after that I went along that road again and found the fort now occupied by Imperials (not hostile, npcs). So I thought that was cool, the bandits had been cleared out and the garrison had taken up residence again.
Since then I've been to Fort Sungard, one called Greenwall (or something similar), and a third fort. I've killed every enemy in them, exterior and interior, but for some reason I don't get the cleared text on the map and upon returning at a later time there are respawned enemies, not Imperial/Stormcloak npcs.
So I'm wondering, do I have to pick a side in the war to get these places properly cleared and occupied by the npcs, or is there some other thing going wrong with the clearing of these particular dungeons?

Err, well... you can decapitate people during combat and pick their heads up like any other object in the game, so... yeah, please don't look at me like that.

Has anyone else tried to put items in their chest and gotten the message "Quest items cannot be removed from inventory", and just stood there trying to figure what the hell quest the game is talking about lol?

I'm about to buy that giant House in Solitude. It's gorgeous. Of course, I also plan on siding with the Stormcloaks. Hope those Solitude folks don't mind lol
Nice. I bet the view from the "porch" is nice, once the boxes are out of there. (I bought the Solitude house a couple of nights ago, for giggles, but re-loaded so I could go down a different path, and save my money). I did see that you could upgrade the porch, though. For $500, I think?
OK, so you can buy a house in Whiterun, Riften, Solitude, Windhelm, and where is the last place? There's 5, right?

I don't know about you, but for me, decapitating people and then using their heads to decorate shelves is just plain creepy, even if it's just a game.

i've never had a kill move that cut someones head of. can you only do that with a sword? (war axe user here)
You can only do it with a particular perk (Savage Strike IIRC), and only if you use a power attack. I've taken quite a few heads off since I picked that perk up - pretty glorious when some Orc comes running at you with a gigantic two-handed sword and you lop his head off before he can even take one swing.

You can do it with an axe. They're two different kill moves that decapitate once you get the perk (Savage Strike). I dual wield though, so one might be for the dual wield.
