Now, this is the weirdest. Even more than that heads decorated shelves! They both have the same name or I'd call them twins.

I thought I was the only one having this glitch. Obviously not! And I think Frost didn't make it in my playthrough, because he's nowhere to be seen. I knew I should have kept him for myself.

P.S. I know what you chose in the Clavicus Vile Daedric quest. Image IPB

I thought maybe this glitch happened because I followed Louis Letrush for hours after giving him Frost. I wanted to see if some animal would kill him and let me keep Frost, or at least find out where he was going to keep the horse stabled.

Eventually I got detoured by an assassin someone hired to kill me and I used whirlwind sprint to catch up to Louis, but when I caught up to them, it appeared that Louis and Frost floated up into the sky.

The next time I visited Whiterun there were Two and a Half Louis Letrushes. And a Dragon carcass.

Hmm time paradox....actully I think I have two of them in my game, above ground...should this be true I will murder one, thus restoring the time stream. Or causing everything to implode.

Also the fact that he started out studying to be a priest, basically, makes me think that raw ambition is not what makes him tick.

The fact that someone wants to become a priest doesn't exempt them from human frailties. It could argued that it may point to a tendency towards fanaticism.

The only "true Nords" in Skyrim are the Companions. The Stormcloaks are a disgrace to the memory of Ysgramor.

Nords are supposed to be a laidback people who don't care about politics whatsoever and are happy when they have some mead to drink and a few skulls to crack. They also don't care about other races living in Skyrim, since after the glorious arse whopping Ysgramor and his 500 gave the Elves thousands of years ago, nobody dares to challenge a Nord anyway.

Including that Tiber Septim yahoo?  Image IPB

Agreed on the racism thing, and that is politically foolish on Ulfric's part.  He's going to have to come around if he wants to be a true king.  Skyrim can't exist in a vacuum, and he should be making nice with the Dunmer and Redguard.  However, he's the one who's appealing to the Nords' glorious past.  The Imperial Nords are all crying "but we need the empire just to rule ourselves."  Bleh.   Image IPB

Tiber Septim wasn't a purebred Nord. He was from High Rock.

Well, I crafted myself an amulet for 25% better prices and +37 extra weight carry. (which added to the Daedra Lord Helmet for another +20% better price makes everything really cheap now... hehe)

I wanted the Speech skill increase before I reach level 50 and cannot get it. I'm at 95 now, saving 5 skill levels to train in Solitute! =)

I have a quick question. Are there caps on Damage and Attack where you get diminishing returns, or can you just run them up as high as you want and get full benefit from them?

I know some people had problems getting benefit from crossfire/SLI systems. that seems like something that would be patched.

i'm getting a great frame rate on my laptop at 1080p all settings maxed, except using FXAA instead of AA. Vsync disabled and grass draw distance increased with ini tweaks.

It slows down a bit in Riften, Markarth and in areas with a lot of foilage, but still very playable.

By comparison, Witcher 2 ran like a slideshow even with everything at lowest possible settings.

The guy from Tweakguides.com will soon post his tweak guide. Highly recommended.

For those who are curious, the good news is that the Skyrim Tweak Guide is nearing completion. I can guarantee it will be the most comprehensive tweak guide for the game, with plenty of detail, lots of tested and working tweaks, and full descriptions and screenshot comparisons throughout. The bad news is it will be at least another week, perhaps a bit longer, before it becomes available. In the meanwhile, the word from Bethesda is that the next Skyrim patch will arrive around the week of 28 November.

Update: The guide's pretty much complete now, just adding screenshot comparisons, awaiting the performance charts from Nvidia labs, and it will then have to be edited and put up on GeForce.com. I'm hoping it will be up before Thanksgiving but I can't promise anything as some of it is out of my hands. What I can say is that the guide is more detailed than the Oblivion Tweak Guide, and addresses many common concerns, and clarifies many tweaks. I've also omitted any tweak which isn't 100% confirmed as working.

In the meanwhile, several people have pointed out this thread which talks about issues caused through disabling VSync by setting iPresentInterval=0 in Skyrim.ini. It's not quite that simple. Vertical mouse sensitivity in Skyrim is always linked to FPS; disabling VSync only highlights it, but is not the cause. Any Physics bugs may be caused by either disabling VSync or high FPS - it's unclear. The timing bug is also unclear; some people claim they have it with VSync enabled, some say they've disabled VSync but don't have it. There is no simple solution to the VSync dilemma in Skyrim. The engine is obviously quirky, and disabling VSync may cause issues, but leaving it enabled also causes mouse lag and can reduce performance. Simply capping FPS may not necessarily fix all these issues either. Probably the best compromise for now is to leave VSync enabled and use Triple Buffering, though this may not help people using 120Hz monitors. I'm hoping Bethesda address this issue either through formal advice or in the upcoming patch, but I suspect it's a fundamental engine flaw due to the game's console heritage, which forced VSync simply covers up by keeping FPS low.

I haven't had any frame rate issues, I have everything maxed out.  Only problem I've had is the game just closing like once an hour.  No error messages nothing, it just closes.

This is one of the reasons why Solitude is my favorite house. Everytime I fast travel to Solitude and it's dusk or dawn, sometimes I just stand on the patio switch to first person and watch it.

POSSIBLE SPOILER - Morthal cusiosity (drag to read - stupid forum didn't work immediately to set up font colour! beta site... after 2 years... yeah.. EA!)

Has anyone followed Talion outside Morthal late in the night? I've always wondered why his house/store was always closed at 10 pm and when I decided to break in, it was empty. Few moments after I left, he came walking on the streets to his house/store.

I was just arriving the village again around 3am, to complete a few quests, collect bounty and stuff when I saw him leaving and decided to check where to... amazing how the game throw stuff like this at us and now my curiosity is even more aroused! I decided to play good guy and left before pushing the situation to a point of no return... Well, I hope time will tell... =)

On my way to Morthal, I checked my map and felt compelled to make this video for my 150th hour into Skyrim!

I get told that and I'm a Nord. It has nothing to do with race, only whether you've stolen something in the past or not.

And has anyone been stolen by Khajiits on the road? I left Whiterun with some Fine-cut Salts to deliver and after speaking to those cats still near Whiterun, I started bartering with one of them and the salts were no longer in my inventory. It is a quest item!!! We can't remove them but they can be stolen???

I reloaded a previous save and didn't talk to them again before completing the quest!

I was on one of the jobs you can get from Vex in the thieves guild, I was sent to steal a drinking horn from the Battle-born home in Whiterun. I go in at like 4am but old woman Battle-born is still up wandering about so I flee and come back an hour later, she is still up but I manage to sneak past as she stands staring at the door. I follow the quest marker and make my way to the bedroom where the drinking horn is nowhere to be found. What I did find though was one of the Battle-borns asleep, about 2 feet off the bed floating and spinning in a circle like Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters except he is spinning right off the bed. I had no choice but to run away.

I also found one goat riding around ontop of another goat. Things have suddenly taken a buggy turn.

Xbox or PS3?, idk about the xbox but on PS3 if your save file is over 2k mb you experiance framerate drops, game freezing, and loading issues alot.

Also don't forget there is the trick of poking them with a sword to shut them up. Works wonders. :P
