Armour with bulges for the breasts (which almost all the heavy armours have) is pretty ridiculous. Oblivion didn't have any of that.

Yes, it did.

Here and here, for example.

Oblivion did have that, but the body models for the female character was so badly done, it didn't translate well. It was made even worse with how bad the armors intrinsically were.

The armors this time, love the Ebony and Daedric, over all look better. I personally don't like the light armors, but that's just me.

Also, how do you get to make the unique equipment at the Skyforge? That is, assuming the thing I've heard are true.

Oh yeah, I will also finally unlock the spawning of dragons. I wanted to get all the gear I wanted before I faced them.

You better prepare yourself for some pain, then - the higher level dragons are pretty brutal, and the first dragon you fight seems to change depending on your character's level.

Dragons in this game are no joke, man. Normal dragons are push overs, but they get much harder from blood dragons up.

EDIT: I will say though that I'm playing on a harder difficulty than most probably are, so that may factor into my experiences with the dragons.

Right now I am playing on Master because then your weapon skills level up faster.  But I lower it if the enemy proves to be too much.  Like some enemies have ridiculous HP no matter which difficulty.  I was playing on Novice and this quest I was on, to get The Forgemaster's Fingers, and the lady and other magic users were tough as nails, the melee enemies were not so tough though.

I'm overall disappointed in the look of the armors, especially on females.  I *hate* brassiere plate and the Stormcloak Officer armor is...  A leather miniskirt and that Vulpes Inculta helmet that Galmor wears.  No thanks, I'll keep my scruffy steel.  I'll definitely be rolling a male next time around.

If it's any consolation to me the Officer armour looks badass on males, after getting it it's now my out of combat clothes and i did pretend i was one of the baddies from 13th warrior for a wee while, unfortunatly about six named npcs and a hell of a lot unnamed ones got murdered in small villages and out on the road the got dragged back to my cave base.

Siding with Saadia was a no brainer really. Saving a damsel in distress and getting some scimitars in the process? All Win.

Besides, its not like the mercs were really trustworthy. The one in the cell seemed to confirmed the lethal ways of the leader, and of course they wanted to play nice with you after you cut through a cave full of bandits to get to them. That, and only you knew where their quarry was, and killing you was no way to get that info.

For me siding with the Alik'r was a no-brainer. I made a deal with them and they offered me money. I keep my deals and i like money. Plus it seemed like giving her up would be a hell of a lot of easier than fighting through a bunch of warriors.

That was a fun quest for me. I started out siding with the Alik'r, then was planning to double cross them and save Saadia. However, before doing the deed, Kametu appealed to my sense of reason, and I decided to "triple-cross" Saadia.

It probably helped that I was pretty low level and it seemed there was no way I could have survived a battle with all those redguards. (Just for fun I saved the game and tried fighting them a few times.)

I was pretty low level when I did that quest too but I had already agreed to help Saadia so decided upon killing the Alik'r. Straight up fighting them got me and Lydia's asses handed to us. So I took their offer then walked up behind their leader, crouched and sneak attacked him with a one hit kill. The rest were fairly easy after that, they have to funnel to get to you if you stay where you killed him. Dealing with them in two's and three's is much easier. Lydia was my biggest problem in the fight she kept getting in the way. So when there was a few left I jumped down into the water and said "Come at me, bro."

Has anyone seen the headless ghost horseman? Don't tell me any spoilers about him or what he exists for... I'm just interested to know how many have seen him.

I know, it looks good on the males.  Bleh.

Here it is on females.  No wonder my character looks pissed off.  She also looks hunched over, which will be appropriate when she's out freezing to death.

This is actually pretty good- it's a steel plate cuirass with the stormcloak helmet and Ancient Nord boots.  BUT, no blacksmith in his right mind would make molded breasts.  All it needs is a pair of metal nipples to look completely ridiculous.

Image IPB

For comparison, here's the regular steel breastplate.  This looks like it could have actually been smithed by someone with brains.

Yes I can tell you that I've seen him and chased him twice. You can do it if you have whirlwind sprint.

Once I chased him for such a long time that it was like a guided tour of several Holds.

So I'm curious to know how people resolved the Forsworn Conspiracy quest. Did you side with Madonach or the Silver-Bloods?

Personally, I killed Madonach - not because I liked the Silver-Bloods, but because I was not about to stand by while a downtrodden king and his tribe of savages butcher my fellow Nords like cattle.

I killed Madanach. I had no sympathy for him, his people, or their little rebellion.

Silver-Bloods for me, it's amazing what a werewolf can do to a bunch of guys armed with shivs.
Did it aminly because of the large amount of Forsworn trying to murder me all the time and as a Nord i didn't think we'd go well together.

I found that in a Dwarven Fort (on a hill off road, eastern part of skyrim, I don't remember exactly). Also a big Dwarven Axe which I gave to my follower.

I'll probably kill them both even if the option is only kill one. :)

I can't investigate the crime scene in Windhelm. I mean the blood on the grave, there is nothing to search there. It's a glitch

I wouldn't kill the Silver-Bloods if you're a Stormcloak supporter - they seem to be the only ones in Markarth who back Ulfric. I'd think leaving them in power is better in the long run if you want the Empire sent home packing.

You'll have no arguement from me there, at first i was bit apprenshive about it but you have no idea how satisfying and fun it is to maul the final Dark Brotherhood target's bodyguard captain to death.

Haha ! At least I can imagine.

In my playthrought, the number of stormcloak, hunters, Thalmor, whose flesh was torn, eaten is impressive. It flows blood's rivers in Skyrim..  ^_^

That whole quest is very glitchy, but all they want you to do is follow the blood trail.

I had a tough time with this one.  I wanted to be able to work out a political compromise with the Forsworn, and I found Madanach a pretty sympathetic character, except he kept going on about how he was going to paint the walls with Nord blood.  And I'm thinking, 'dude you know I'm a Nord, right?'  So I was kind of torn.

I didn't kill him outright, though.  I figured there would be a way to get out of the prison without cooperating with him, but also that my character wouldn't know that she's in a game and can't be locked away for life.  So I helped him escape, then got pangs of conscience as I saw them mowing through the Markarth guard.  I ended up turning on the Forsworn and killed Madanach outside.  I'm not sure the game will recognize that he's dead, though.  People still talk about him as if he's alive.

Hey, Nords have frost resistance (even frost immunity in the past games) for something.

Atronach Stone + master Alteration perk + 3 x alteration resistance perk = any magic user is your female dog permanently.
