yea i know, i think i'm gonna train it up to 60 so i can upgrade enchanted stuff, and then i'l quit it for a while. this orcish armor is OP anyway right nowUlous wrote...
Smithing is a good skill but be careful with training it early on, mainly because smithing levels you up really quickly, if your combat skills are lacking then you are going to be left behind and you may struggle with many of the battles.
That's pretty much what I did. Orcish Armor and Elven Sword ASAP. Then game became easier even on Master diff. And when I level'd up, it became even easier with each level and new 2 handed/heavy armor perks. Game upgraded a few enemies liek Draugr became Deathlords and later, Dragon Priests with their minions but it was just a great character development experience. I really felt the improvement with each level/perks.

perhaps its because he killed that guy in the beginning?jreezy wrote...
Anybody else's "The Forsworn Conspiracy" quest messed up in some way? My brother said he can't enter Markarth without getting attacked by guards now.
I have killed 3 guards in that quest and I haven't been spotted, so it is doable. Needless to say Markath isn't happy with me after that.jreezy wrote...

He was captured during the war and they tortured the hell out of him . After this they told him the inconsequentional information he gave them in the end was a huge secret and that he had betrayed the empire and that they would look after him.Sylvianus wrote...
Why he became a Thalmor agent ? I don't remember.
I think you mean Bethesda.KJandrew wrote...
To be honest i wish Bioware put out a patch for that on Xbox, the female armour just looks stupid or terrible to me half the time that i started looking for a male huscarl to give my dragonbone armour to.MarchWaltz wrote...
I think there is a female armor mod that makes armor on female chars look better, I have not tried it myself on my female warrior, but I might.
If he's working for the Thalmor, I'd kill him myself. But I don't believe it. I know we don't get to talk to the emperor himself, but at least the Stormcloak leadership understands what they are up against. Their goal is to kick the Thalmors out so they can do what everyone says the empire wants to do "someday, eventually," in between running after the Thalmors- regroup to fight the Dominion.KJandrew wrote...

ok, thanks rage
edit: isnt being able to make stuff and being able to upgrade it dependent of the same perk?

So after searching high and low I finally find the girl I've been looking for. A cute breton follower with a great voice, great dialogue and dresses sexy. She's also incredibly versitile! Great with bow, sword and spell, and summons pets too.
Only one small problem stands in the way of our love. She's a cannibal. I hate you Skyrim. *sigh*

I know, it looks good on the males. Bleh.KJandrew wrote...
If it's any consolation to me the Officer armour looks badass on males, after getting it it's now my out of combat clothes and i did pretend i was one of the baddies from 13th warrior for a wee while, unfortunatly about six named npcs and a hell of a lot unnamed ones got murdered in small villages and out on the road the got dragged back to my cave base.
Here it is on females. No wonder my character looks pissed off. She also looks hunched over, which will be appropriate when she's out freezing to death.
This is actually pretty good- it's a steel plate cuirass with the stormcloak helmet and Ancient Nord boots. BUT, no blacksmith in his right mind would make molded breasts. All it needs is a pair of metal nipples to look completely ridiculous.
For comparison, here's the regular steel breastplate. This looks like it could have actually been smithed by someone with brains.
