Knocked over a Thalmor base today. That was fun and it stocked my coffers after I emptied them getting trained in Heavy Armor to get the weightless bonus. I am expecting ambushes now since NPCs are commenting on the attack.

At level 19 I hardly killed a Frost Dragon by using a house as shelter and shooting Firebolt, Fire shout and Arrows.
It made me to turn a mountain for avoiding another F.Dragon (in an open area) to reach a mission.

just make sure there are rocks or other things around where you can hide if the dragon uses its breath and you're goodJedi Sentinel Arian wrote...

And on an unrelated note: I finally found a necklace that lets me breathe underwater, so I've been 'skuba diving'. Found a chest with some gold and gems in it at the bottom of a river. Thought that was cool.
Yeah, I found an scaled water breathing helm in the Mzinchaleft Dwemer Ruins doing Mjoll's quest several days ago (at least I think it was in Mzinchaleft...it's all starting to run together). It was really handy in there since some of it was submerged and I was swimming through ancient bedrooms looting dressers and such. Pretty cool. Underwater breathing is an absolute necessity in this game. Think I'm going to disenchant the helm and add it to a necklace to save a little weight though. It's standard kit right now. And yes, anywhere there's water I'm usually found swimming. Always seems to be some reward for it.
I've been using waterbreathing items since I was low level. Definitely a must. The good thing about enchanting items with these abilities, like waterbreathing or muffle, is that a simple petty soul gem will do it. There's no grade for these enchantment. They work the same either with a grand soul gem or a petty one! =)Yrkoon wrote...
Except for the last perk in the 2-h tree. (backwards power attack) It happens to not be as good as the two perks before it.
I do get enough paralyze hits to make up for the perk point spent but it could last longer and it's hard to hit a backwards power strike on things that keep moving away from you! hehe

Now, I jumped from waterfall to the south, out of crazyness and to meet Aela whom had taken a different route to meet me, as usual, and a Bard Ghost salutes me because "it's been a long time since someone took the leap... and survived"! hahahah Devs knew we were gonna do it! They are as crazy as us!!! =)

And finally started the main quest. Couldn't resist the fun of using dragon shouts any longer.

I have a few, but this is by far my favorite.

I don't know if this is only for dual wielders but this is actually my favorite of the two animations. Force an enemy down to a knee, cross the blades in front and well....you can guess what comes next.

Have to level up in Speech so you can invest in your hometown merchants and increase their gold.Sidney wrote...
I'm beginning to get annoyed with the merchants and their chronic lack of cash. I go out dungeon dive and fill up myself and Lydia up with loot and come back. I have to hit at least 2 cities to empty out my wares because between different shops purchases and their limited cash they can't buy what I'm selling. Realism, maybe, but fast travelling around just to sell trash loot doesn't rate high on the fun factor.

Ditto
We, the American people, today ask you,
1) To enact an immediate ban on the videogame known as "SkyRim" produced by Blizzard Entertainment.
2) To seize and destroy all copies already in public hands and erase its presence on the internet.
3) To prosecute the players of "SkyRim" to the fullest extent of the law.
4) To create a national database of videogame avatars and "screen names" so that teenagers can be better monitored.

Does the Talos Shrine blessing appear to be bugged for everyone else?
The Amulet of Talos shows up in active effects as -20% shout cooldown. however, the Talos Shrine blessing shows up as -0% cooldown.
I thought it was perhaps disabled if you are wearing the Amulet of Talos at the same time, but I tried while wearing different amulets and it always shows up as -0% cooldown.

The dragon was hell to fight, I lack ranged combat and there was no place for the dragon to perch or land, so I had to rely on the vigilants to wear it down while I healed them. After a long fight, the damn dragon finally landed across the river, where the two blades members were waiting for me! So all three of us (the vigilants ran off to fight the dragon my thief chased) beat down the dragon, ended with my katana in its eye.
Well I thought it was over, as I couldn't see the other dragon (or my damn thrall) and so I started heading toward the forsworn camp.... When that dragon I thought flew off passed over me and started blasting all the forsworn in the camp! Well with my thief apparently gone, I summoned a flame atronach thrall to help take care of it.
Well now there is a mighty three way combat. Me, the two blades, and my atronach, vs an entire forsworn camp (about twenty forsworn!), vs a frost dragon! It was absolute chaos, the dragon taking pot shots at whoever was in range, the forsworn melee attacking my group getting cut down, while their mages and archers shot at the dragon.... It was hectic but eventually the dragon was overwhelmed by the sheer number of of projectiles flying at it (ice bolts, firballs, arrows!) that it CRASHED AND SKIDDED INTO A DRAGONS GRAVE across the river. I forded the river, struggling against the current while forsworn mages and archers diverted their attention to my little group, and out of stamina I followed the trail of mud into the grave and finished off the bloody thing.
As I am typing this I am now turning back toward the camp to finish the fight. Wish me luck!

I lost a dragon who flew around the other side of a mountain near Winterhold and I was looking for him.
Then, the Elder Dragon spotted me when I was on the very summit of one of the tallest mountains in Skyrim:

I used the Storm Call shout and tried to force him to land with my bow.

Every time he swooped in close he would one-shot me and send me flying into orbit

eventually I managed to take him out, summoning a dremora to help tank

It was the most exhilarating dragon battle I've experienced so far. My follower couldn't help as they are not able to climb mountains.

I only really use shouts in a pinch. I should be wearing that amulet, though, since I'm playing my girl as a born-again Talos worshipper. It's a challenge to leave something at altars instead of robbing the offering plate. lolvirumor wrote...

Playing an orc male atm, dual wield berserker style. Have to kill **** fast, since I rely mostly on armor and an armor rating buff, + magic resistance from alteration helps along with some resists.
