Hey, does anyone know if there's a use for the drops from a dead dragon? The Dragon Scales and that other dragon stuff, can't remember the name.
Yes, with 100 Smithing and the relevant perks, you can forge it into some pretty awesome armor.

Dragon scales for Dragonscale armor (the best light armor in game)

Are there any reasons for joining Ulfric?
1) He has no honour (using Thu'um to either instakill or knock down the High King to get an easy kill)
2) Extrapolating from 1), he has no fighting skill
3) He has no charisma, judging from the speech against his henchmen
4) He is a Thalmor puppet, plus lacks the intelligence to realize he's a puppet
5) He is xenophobic and isolationist and lacks any strategic skill
I'm a Thalmor Assassin who's helping the Stormcloaks.
Does that work?4) He is a Thalmor puppet, plus lacks the intelligence to realize he's a puppet
Oh... oh.
I wonder if there are any pro-Thalmor quests. They seem to be the only clear-cut bad guys... besides the bandits, of course.
Yeah, no. This dissapointed me. As a High Elf you should be able to join the Thalmor!

Fast travel to where you are (yes, we can do that in Skyrim) and they should appear right next to you, unless you told them to wait!

I don't think that will end well.
Oh we'd all probably end up running around shouting:
"Wabbajack, Wabbajack, Wabbajack, Wabbajack... I smell weakness!"

Aren't there non-Altmer Thalmor? I killed some Thalmor, looted their bodies and found the occasional Elf with grayer skin and a beard.
There are Bosmer, as well. There shouldn't be any Dunmer, seeing how they're pretty anti-Aedra, but maybe that's changed in the 200 years since Morrowind.

Shouldn't the Bosmer be more like lackeys, after they practically got enslaved by the High Elves?

The Thalmor were founded by a Bosmer. So if a Bosmer agrees with the Thalmor plan to unmake the world, I don't see why he wouldn't be allowed to help.

The Thalmor empire originated in Valenwood. If anything they should be the ones ruling.

I got a quest to kill a Thalmor Khajiit assassin, so I'm guessing they're not all Elves.

The Thalmor empire originated in Valenwood as part of a High Elven coup of the Bosmer kingdom.

The Thalmor empire originated in Valenwood when a Bosmer claimant created them to help him seize the throne.
Fixed it again! They only became a factor on the Summerset Isles after they were kicked out of Valenwood by Tiber Septim.
