Nah, for me it's the cash . . I enchant rarely, blacksmith the same. My PC is a warrior, not a blacksmith, not an enchanter.

It's not about that for me. I like a challenge. I'm just fine with my superior steel plate armor, etc. The only thing I enchanted was some gloves and boots for carrying capacity before I learned you can increase that by leveling stamina.
I've got me a nice enchanted sword I found - or killed someone for, don't remember which gave me Dawnstar - and just picked up a nice Ebony blade, have a few enchanted bows and war-axes and such . . . all looted.
The way I see it, my guy's a warrior. Sure, he can patch his gear, maybe customize it so it's a little better than stock . . .he dabbles with alchemy, but basically, I have a chest full of ingredients I hardly use, and most everything I craft I sell.
Haven't found an enemy I couldn't kill yet.
