Taste IS a funny thing! I can't believe someone actually prefers Oblivion's Glass Armor. That ****ty design was just horrible! A green Robocop.

Anyway, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who strives for accurate Tamrielic names - I've always went out of my way to create authentic names for my characters based on their race.
My male Nord warrior is named Gormr Fire-Heart - I spent quite a bit of time looking at Old Norse and Scandinavian words and names before I settled on it. It's an authentic Nord name, and I think it fits the character quite nicely.

LOL. I said Skyrim's Glass armor looks worse than Oblivion's. I never said I liked Oblivion's Glass armor.

Did you guys know....
The farther you get into the MQ the higher the chance of a random dragon? So for all those people who have far to many dragon encounters....you can finish the MQ to set it back to the average (which I think is the point after you meet the Greybeards).
Not really. Fighting the first named and quest related Dragon is what triggers the random encounters. I did it at level 19. had a great time before that... hehe After that and before I ever visited High Hroath and the Greybeards, I probably killed some 15 random Dragons. After I visited them, another 15. And I didn't advance the MQ much. Just 3 more missions after my "trial". But then, I'm about to hit 220 hours of gameplay time! And there is still so much to do!
I'm giving up. I'll start fast travelling to complete quests, at least, or I'll never ever finish this game! =)

I think glass armor is just destined to be ugly.
Morrowind
Oblivion
Skyrim
Although this one is not bad. Unless you actually want armor. Meow.

^ See, Nightingale armor FTW!
Finally got that suit. Nothing says 'Batman' like the Nightingale armor. You even go into a cave headquarters to put it on. There really needed to be a Nightingalemobile. Or at least a Nightingalesteed.

I'm also rockin' Nightingale armor since lvl 22. I'm lvl 36 now and still rockin' the Nightingale armor (now improved to Legendary quality with smithing). It's such an awesome armor.
Have you been doing Daedra quests or are you a vampire or werewolf?virumor wrote...

I have one question though. Can you give the Nightingale armor pieces a 2nd enchantment with the top perk in the Enchanting skill tree?

No, we cannot enchant items which already have enchantments, unfortunately.

For some reason, even when I have void salts in my inventory, when I try to improve it at a workbench, it says I'm missing the necessary materials.
How many void salts do you need to have in inventory?

Not even with the 'Extra Effect' perk in the Enchanting skill tree?
This is what the game says:
Extra Effect: Can put two enchantments on the same item.
It confuses me. How does that work? And why can't I put another enchantment on my Nightingale armor with that perk?

You can put 2 enchantments at once. If the item is enchanted already you can't add second one..

Exactly. You select an item, select 2 enchantments (from the list of what you know/disenchanted and what can be placed on that type of item) and select 1 soul gem.
For instance, Armors can be enchanted with Fortify Health and Fortify Health Regeneration but not with many other effects on my list.
Now, when an item already has an enchantment, it won't even appear in the list of items you can enchant, meaning, you cannot re-enchant existing enchanted items. Only plain items, improved or not, can be enchanted and if you have the last perk, with 2 effects as long as the item accepts those effects.

To enter the College of Winterhold you need to be able to cast a Fear spell.
To cast a Fear spell, your magicka skill has to be a certain level...in particular Illusion, I believe.

But I find it hilarious that you'd say such a thing, even as you sit and read what some others are saying here... you know, about freedom, and about how they're doing fine with just the stuff they're looting and buying.
And by the way, you're not stating an opinion. You're flat out making factually erroneous claims about the game's mechanics. Are you aware that there's an Armor rating cap in this game? There's an Armor rating cap. And you can reach it with nothing more than a standard set of IRON armor and Heavy Armor perks. In other words, Using Nothing but what Bandits drop, you too can have 80% physical damage reduction, just like someone who slaved away creating Legendary Daedric Armor.
But forget about armor. You don't need to wear armor. In fact, you don't even need to fight. There are items in this game that allow you to summon creatures to fight for you, and some of them are at least as powerful as ANY enemy you face in ANY dungeon. Some of them ARE the enemies you face in any dungeon. Literally. There are spells, items and shouts that force the enemies you face to kill each other. Lets think about that for a second.... You can make. enemies. kill. each. other. And that raises the obvious question: How can there be, as you say, a combat difficulty curve at all, when you can make the enemies die without actually engaging in combat?
