I need a no helmet mod. What's the point of making a nice face if it's hidden all the time.
Yes Glass armor .. BRRRR .. So ugly . I'd rather be nude than wear it.

First person point of view do ytou ever see your character anyways? All I need are good looking gauntlets.

There's a pretty decent one. You chose the type of helmet you want to make invisible and only that will be so, including for all NPC's that may use it too. If you install all the types then you won't see any more helmets in Skyrim. Too radical for me. =)

I've linked it a few pages back and I'd need to search for it as well.

The Dragon born would never wear that. I mean the glass . So even if i don,t see the glass I am concious of wearing that junk. No thanks. Plus I often use third person view when I`m running around .. It's make thing more dramatic.

I`m a roleplayer .. So i try to make thing more cinematic . I don't jump around during an important moment or  open every chest when a NPC talk to me. It's nerdy but that my style of play . I don't want a ugly helmet  but I want the set bonus.

To enter the College of Winterhold you need to be able to cast a Fear spell.

To cast a Fear spell, your magicka skill has to be a certain level...in particular Illusion, I believe.

It is based I think on your highest magic skill...I had to toss a destruction spell.

Its based on the highest magic, I had to cast healing hands.

The glass looks 10x better on females. I have this mod that makes the green sparkle like a glass diamond. Looks good.

Also this and this looks nice.

This is what I have.

I'm suddenly getting attacked by Vigilants of Stendarr... why?

I stumbled across their outpost south of Riften quite by accident.

Got "the speech" from one of them, you know the one: "We're the Vigilants of Stendarr and we hate/kill ... ! "

Boy was I sweating bullets by the time I backed away from there.

Haven't seen them since though.

EDIT:

Maybe a chicken ratted you out. ^_^

I encountered some vigilants randomly during my epic battle with two dragons and an entire foresworn camp. They didn't seem hostile and helped me fight one of the dragons before I lost track of them in the chaos.

No idea who they are.

Actually I always thought the helmet looked Iconic because that's what they show in the Demo's and trailer. Iron Armor at least.

Basically they hate/kill vampires, werewolves, and "Daedra lovers".

Two outa' three had me worried.

But ... like the Templars in DA2, they don't seem to be very observant.

What is this first person point of view you speak of? Third person is the only way to play. And for that you need to look good all over.

Has anyone else picked up Spellbreaker or Kahvozein's Fang?

Don't have much use for the Fang myself, but Spellbreaker is mighty nice.

Are you guys sure it's not random? Restoration was my highest skill, but I had to cast Fear.

I had to cast Magelight to get in on one attempt. And Flame Atronarch on another. Conjuration was the higher skill, on both attempts.

Well i'm a werewolf, and I worked for daedra (in fact I was using that kickass daedric mace you get in markarth...) so I guess they are a bit derp.

I have to say though, I don't act much like a werewolf. I hardly ever transform. I have transformed... three time not counting reloads when I died using it. I am assuming you lose all your armor when you transform right?

I have to admit though, the first time I ever transformed (aside from doing the companions quest) was awe inspiring for me.

Spellbreaker is a life saver for my 2-handed/Heavy armor warrior now that he's training Light Armor and 1-handed to get a few more perks and invest in alchemy! =)

The Viligants didn't go hostile on me yet and I've been Beast Blooded for a long while now. Even visited some of the Stendar's keeps around and they're all but friendly and sometimes cured a few diseases as well. (I always seem to catch Bone Breaker Fever from Bears, even being immune due to my lupine condition)

And no, we don't lose any gear due to Beast Form. We only unequip them all. It's all there in our inventory whem we change back.

Thats what I meant. By "lose armor" I mean we lose all of our armor rating while being a werewolf, which would explain why I was dying so fast against certain enemies.

I came across Spellbreaker tonight...its a Dwarven shield in my game. It's sitting in my chest at home in Markarth. Not using any armor, but will either save it as a collectible or break it down for Enchanting. Got it doing Hircine's Daedra quest.

Extra Effect: Can put two enchantments on the same item.

It confuses me. How does that work? And why can't I put another enchantment on my Nightingale armor with that perk?

You can only put two different enchantments on a fresh piece of armor. Once something is enchanted, you can never enchant it further.

Though if you want fresh Nightingale Armor, there is a mod on the nexus for that.

Oh, you're right. It's a pain to fight with Werewolves armor class. It hurts a lot. hehe Well, we can always scare them off with Scent of Blood, if they're not too powerful and use wolves' speed to charge with power attack and retreat and repeat.

BTW, does anyone know how to upgrade werewolves' howling abilities?

I beseech thee, you unholy rable, if one canst cast the foul devils Magic of Ice upon thy Giant, and then dost have wrought a great smiting upon said Giant, Wouldest, that be slaying a Frost giant?

I say nay, verily.

But I think  just like you.  Back in the BG2 days I used to lower the magic resistance of a flesh golem then  have Edwin cast  Flesh to Stone in the hopes that I could turn that flesh golem into a stone golem.  That didn't work either.

Summoned critters are nifty but again at the low to mid level they are not all that powerful - familars and flame atronarchs are hardly devestating. Toss in that foes will ignore the summon to attack the mage and they're grossly imperfect shields and then even worse they follow you so short of, once again, abusing the system by casting them over and over again they'll often not even be in a fight with you.

What exactly are you commonly facing in your dungeon crawling,  that a Storm/flame Atronarch or a Dremora + any companion  isn't powerful  enough to wipe out?  Are those Draugrs too tough for your 20th level  mage?

You seem to be of the opion that at of near the level cap you can do anything and that might be true but most people won't ever sniff the level cap and if they do it will take dozens of hours of gaming.

I had just as easy a time at lower levels.  Combat in this game isn't hard at all unless you're  playing on master difficulty.
