There's a cooldown time, it's shown in seconds in the Shouts menu, but you can also see it on the top of your screen on the UI. The compass UI at the top will have this bluish glow that will eventually dissipate (starting from the centre moving outward). When it dissipates completely, you can Shout again.
Different Shouts have different cooldown times and powering them up or finding word upgrades also has an effect on the cooldown time.
Thanks! Saw the glow, but thought it was for the duration of that specific Shout. Guess I will need to switch up to actual Powers or Spells for follow up magics.
Mostly, am using a longbow and sniping for kills, but have also some One-handed dagger action for melee if needed. And Stealth is wondermous when it works (ie; majority of encounters); not so much when it fails.
FWIW - rather humorous Bug of the Day: While swimming underwater to sneak into a Quest zone, the gameplay halts, and a voice calls out for me to cease and desist, and orders me to be placed under arrest. The caller? An underwater guard....

The dark elven priestess at the Shrine of Azura. I have been there already and she isn't there. She hasn't died as far as I know. She was still with me when I reached the top of the mountain, and you don't have to fight at the greybeards.
Araena Lenith ?
Try this:
Activate console and type
player.moveto 28ad1
that will teleport you to her current location.
Or you can type :
prid 28ad1
moveto player
that will place her at your current location
Oh, thank you so much! I tried the moveto player one, and Araena Lenith has magically returned to me!
And I have also yet to thank the people that responded to my problem that I couldn't take screenshots. I can make screenshots now with print screen, although I really don't understand why, actually.... I didn't change anything or downloaded anything, so it's really weird that I now do get the message that a screenshot is created when I press prt sc. I thought the first time I finally managed to take a screenshot, it was with the Fn + F12 combination, but when I tried that again the next day, I ended up disabling my bluetooth connection, resulting in a non-responding blue tooth mouse. O_o Even after I enabled bluetooth again, my laptop still couldn't find my mouse. I finally got it to work again, but I never dare to touch F12 again.
Anyway, more ontopic: I'm playing a high elf, and I see everyone is hating on the Thalmor, but I was wondering if there are chances where you can side with the elves. They are my "people" with this character, so I'm trying to figure out which side I should chose in the civil war for the Thalmor to benefit the most.
Ehm... also, is there some secret to alchemy that I'm missing? Are you really supposed to blindly make combinations and hope it will finally be a right one? I've seen some merchants sell recepies, but they don't sell very much of them, and not the ones I want (a magicka potion for insteance). I don't want to cheat and just look up a list of all the valid recepies, but I'm wondering if there is some hidden logic that escapes me.

When you craft items, there is a an option to name the thing you've just created. I believe this option is also available with enchanting, but I'm not sure. It is there with smithing however.

^ You have to try each alchemy ingredient (by eating it) to see the first trait of it. When you have ingredients with that same trait in common, you can create a potion or poison out of it. You can buy (or find) recipes all over Skyrim. Heck, go into peoples' houses to find them lying on end tables, dressers, etc.
If you increase your Alchemy skills, you can get perks that will reveal two traits instead of one, make more effective potions, etc.
You can name items you're enchanting as well, but you need to do it before you select "craft item", or however it's worded. You can't do it after the fact. When you craft items, there is a an option to name the thing you've just created. I believe this option is also available with enchanting, but I'm not sure. It is there with smithing however.

It's funny how it is classified as Heavy armor. That outfit Aela the Huntress wears totally looks heavy.Addai67 wrote...

Was it ever addressed what happend to
King Helseth and the other Houses of Morrowind after the Oblivion
crisis? I'd imagine House Telvanni hasn't dissolved, since Brelyna
Maryon is from Morrowind and addresses that she's from House
Telvanni.
It's pretty much confirmed that House Telvanni is destroyed. There's a side quest that deals with the sole living heir of House Telvanni, a male Dunmer from Riften.

I still need to try out the Dark Brotherhood. It's the one quest line I haven't tried at all (even in Oblivion).

My newest creation.

Damn! And I was feeling proud of the 35 damage my legendary Daedric Bow does, plus 30 fire damage.
I'm at level 51 now and I notice it takes longer to gain a level after 50. Five training sessions barely add anything towards the leveling up bar. Too bad I mis-spent a handful of perks early in the game or I wouldn't care. I finally got enchanting to 100, but I need one last perk before I can add two enchantments to everything.
I have 20 Daedra hearts sitting in a chest, just waiting for maxed out enchanting, so I can remake all my weapons and armor.
Has anyone found a spell to summon Daedra yet? I've been looking, but still see nothing better than a Flame Atronach. I have the Command Daedra spell, but nothing to summon.

To illustrate, there is currently a thread on Bethsoft in praise of the Ancient Nord Armor called "DAT SIDEBOOB."
These are the people Bethesda obviously had in mind.

I only know the option to rename while enchanting. Just press F after selecting all, item, enchantement and soul gem, Item name will be editable with the cursor blinking on it. Enter to confirm the name and R+Y to enchant.
I've crafted over 1,000 items and never saw the option to rename an item during smithing. =/

Hehe nice
I've just tried to 1 shot him with the bow.
With the self made marksman potion my bow's damage rised to 1190 ? 1119 ? (can't see the last/first digit - damn UI)

And I managed to land both - Sneak attack & Critical strike. Somehow he survived that (barely) .
Oh well ...
Maybe next time

The slain body of the dragon Viinturuth has been stalking me across the game. I enter an area either through fast travel or exploration and there's his carcass just waiting for me. The most lulzy was yesterday, he suddenly appeared stuck in the house of a bandit lair. He's like an eager puppy following me everywhere.

I read on the wiki you can't marry khajiit or wood elves.I wanted to marry J'zargo. Well, not with my high elf, that wouldn't be very fitting, but with my next character (a khajiit as well). I want a spouse with a furry tail! And J'zargo remembers me of Zevran somehow.... xD
No, you can't. There are 62 specific NPCs you can marry. It's a shame, since the ones I like are never available. <_< Maybe if I ever decide to complete the Companions quests and become a werewolf I might choose one of the available Companions.
Can anyone tell me if you HAVE to transform into beast form once a day, or can you choose not to? That's really my biggest hesitation with turning furry. I don't like the beast form, so when I did the quest to become one I ended up reloading.

I'm bummed that I can't marry Brynjolf!!!
No, you don't have to transform. My character has had that ability for over 200 days, and hasn't transformed once.
