Pretty sure Ondolemar is an essential NPC, thus can't be killed.
Speaking of Ondolemar, though, in the beginning of the game his bodyguards were women, but now 100+ hours later they've changed into men. Not sure what happened there.

I sure hope not. If he can die though, I'll be sure to pile up the Thalmor corpses and post a screenie.

So are there any hairdressers in Skyrim? Kinda want to remove the beard and change the hair style of my character.

I thought the same thing about Magic, what are these people doing if they can't increase their armor rating by 100 points, heal 150 points of health and stamina instantly and shoot fireballs?

That's Ulfric's pespective and it's very sad he dies with guilt like that, but the prophecy suggests that it was the banning of Talos that precipitated the dragons coming.  The Thalmor didn't know they were doing that- they were only waiting for Aur-Iniel- but unwittingly they did.

No, it's the civil war that the prophecy foretold. It's depicted on Alduin's Wall as the Throat of the World tearing itself apart as well as Nords fighting.

The Thalmor wanted to erase Talos from the Aurbis's memory, but I'm not sure how much they knew about Alduin.

Whoa, I just got into a HUGE battle on my way to Riften just now - there were four cave bears, five Frostbite spiders, and two necromancers all duking it out, and I got caught right in the middle. I had to go werewolf and battle them ALL just to survive (and had to reload several times), but wow was it epic. Probably the most awesome moment in Skyrim I've experienced so far.

People actually hand over companions to the Blades? I really hate their involvement in the main quest. First they sabotage your progress to get your attention, then send you on three useless quests and then demand you to do their dirty work for them or they refuse to help (not that they offer any useful help to begin with). What a bunch of losers.

I regularly return to Sky Haven Temple to shout them off the mountain. Somehow they always find their way back.

Thanks to the Ring of Hercine I am now playing as a Vampire who can turn into a Werewolf! Or as I like to call him now, a Bloodwolf.

They're probably crafting and enchanting iron daggers.

I had the Ring of Hircine for the longest time but I never turned into a werewolf. I thought the ring only affects you if you are already a werewolf.

Did you also have to do the quest where you drink the werewolf blood? Or did the ring alone give you beast form power.

Yes I did that quest then cured myself later on, but I got the ring whilst I was a Werewolf. I'm sure I'm not supposed to be able to do this, but it is fun being both!

The empire can't save anyone- that is clear. And I would say that the "harder provinces" are Skyrim and Hammerfell. The Thalmor main force was destroyed and yet Titus Meade gave them nearly everything they wanted anyway. The empire, like most empires, is rotting from the core. Time to cut the anchor before it drags Skyrim down with it. As someone on Bethsoft forum said, the rebel king is also a powerful figure in TES lore- Ulfric may end up being a history-changer.

Destroyed? What?

To completely and utterly destroy an enemy army is encircle it and then process to kill off most of them. Sorta like Cannae.

The Empire won a victory, but just because you win a battle doesn't mean you win the war. The Thalmor would have regrouped and struck again, they just sued for peace so they could rebuild more easily.

Mind my preference is to side with the Empire, but to also kill the Emperor.

If the Thalmor could have destroyed Cyrodiil, they would have.  They were crippled.  What you do there is call for a truce, not offer an almost complete surrender and then invite the enemy into your territory to spy and (in Skyrim) work on your behalf.

Titus Meade is not a complete disaster- he came up with the battle plan for Red Ring that was ultimately successful- but all in all it is he who has lost the empire.  Yet I don't see how killing him and leaving the empire leaderless is a good plan.  Skyrim should simply stand on its own, with someone who's actually a ruler rather than an empty chair like Elisif- that should be enough of a wake-up call, that he can't depend on the provinces to win his wars for him.

Also if you talk to Niranye and the Dunmer in Windhelm, they tell you that the Dunmer who came there after Vvardenfell expected everyone to be impressed by their "I'm from House Wacka Wacka" talk and are too proud to do what they need to do to establish themselves.

Yet the ghettos still exist and there are Nords racially abusing them with impunity, none of which you see elsewhere so blatantly. None of which exists afterward in Windhelm if you side with the Imperials.

A fair point.  I prefer Balgruuf's way myself.  He's too much of a princess for my taste (that circlet? dude, you are a Nord jarl...) and up in the empire's ass, but I still like both him and Irileth and hate to see them turn so bitter.

Actually being a Bloodwolf might not be so good now...I cant seem to be able to drink blood, so I'm just going to get stuck with level 4 Vampirism and get attacked in towns on sight. Guess I best reload..

And that would destroy the Empire. What do you think the Empire would let Skyrim fall and then not do anything afterward?

Better that the fool who agreed with that peace treaty die so we can have a new Emperor.

As callous as it might be, I honestly don't care about that - there are bigger priorities than prettying up the Gray Quarter and making its denizens feel warm and cozy. As has been said multiple times, a lot of them have overcome the prejudice of the Nords and made something of themselves - and that fact holds a lot of weight in this discussion, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

But if you're content to support a crippled, hollow husk of an Empire who abandoned its allies to the Aldmeri Dominion and let the Thalmor drag its own citizens off to torture and death, just because some the Nords of Windhelm like to bully the Dunmer, then help yourself.

EDIT: I just wanted to stress that not all of the Nords even act that way - a number of them bear the Dunmer no ill will whatsoever.

Anyone else notice that Meridia is voiced by the same woman who voiced Meredith in DA2?
A mage hating templar voicing a undead hating Daedra is kind of funny.

Also Dawnbreaker is my fave weapon so far...seeing undead explode and scatter their fellows is endlessly amusing.

She actually does quite a few voices.

Dawnbreaker is so awesome. I love how it glows when enemies are near.  The Mace of Molag Bal is pretty awesome too.

Yep.  Also,  approximately 20% of the male population of skyrim is  voiced by Fenris.

I stumbled upon a stormcloak camp last night and heard 2  Fenrises talking to each other.

In Windhelm, does the dark elf ghetto go away, and the argonians and khajiit move inside the walls when you side with the Imperials?

For me, it's not that I don't care about the racism towards the elves of the Gray Quarter, as a matter of fact I was really hoping that I'd come across more quests to try to help them out. However, there is so much racism among the Elder Scrolls races, that it's hard to hate just one man so intensely for it. The Stormcloak racism bothers me as much as the Thalmor racism, but racism seems to be one of the Thalmor's primary motivators, unlike the Stormcloak's, in my perception.

I wonder if these actors and actresses recorded the voices for the characters of Skyrim even before they voiced the Dragon Age 2 characters.
