Upon reconsideration, the best part of the Dark Brotherhood questline was the (Remain silent) dialogue option. I used it every time I could.

Some NPC reactions to it were priceless.

Turns out a whole camp of Forsworn is a very good way to distract a dragon... for about 40 seconds until they're all burning corpses and the dragon still wants to eat you

What's a good crypt to go Soul Gem filling in? I'm ready to start power leveling Enchanting. I have 45 Petty Soul Gems and 34 Lesser Soul Gems ready to go.

That sounds like an awful lot of effort.

Call me lazy, but I usually give my follower a weapon with soul trap, and load them up with empty gems, and let them go to town (several of each size). Then, I trade with them later.

Sometimes I keep some empty gems for myself, and we both harvest like mother truckers.

I never bothered with all that soul trap and gem nonsense, just get Molag Bal's mace and The Black Star of Azura and you're set for life

I've just been buying Soul Gems whenever I see them. And I don't use a follower because as a sneak archer they just blow my cover and chance at 3x sneak attack damage. I only use bows, so a mace would be no good to me, and I thought Azura's Star is only used to recharge weapons. It's not used to make new enchantments as it would destroy it. But I could be wrong. Can someone clarify?

Crypt recommendations still welcome.

There is no chance to raise Enchanting to any serious lvl using Azura'a star only.

First - you can't trap humanoid's soul with it.
Second you can enchant only 1 item at once with it, then you need to go and fill it up again.

Huh.. question. You guys know that amazing screenshot that many posted here, the one where looks like one's looking up right in the middle of a F5 tornado, only that it is all colourful and stuff?

What is it? Where/when does that happen? Some 300 hrs with tweo chyars and I still haven't seen it myself... *sighs*

@YCF, just go exploring and you'll fill them all. I fill mine on the wilderness while traveling, with this char. First one kept taking the carriage around the country and buying petty and lesser gems already filled. It's a lot faster but it's so expensive... I've spent some 40k septims to train from 60 to 100 enchanting. This time I'm doing it all for free! =)

heh.. that would be insane. Who thought of that? It's so easy to purchase and find hundreds of Petty, Lesser and Common gems and there are plenty Skeever, Wolves, Skelies and Draugr for the Petty, Cats, Bears, Trolls, higher Draugrs for Lesser and many more for the Common gems.

I save Greater gems to recharge items and Grand gems to enchant new items to use. +

Yeah, I think I'll just walk from Morthal to Markarth and see what I can find.

That's why I said use the Black Star of Azura, that can take humanoid ones.

That sounds pretty cool, I don't think I've seen that...unless you mean Blackreach, but I'm guessing not. That's the one with all the pretty mushrooms and lots of Falmer.

Are you kidding? The empire had kicked ulfrics ass in quick order (well actually tulius did after fighting went on long enough) and were about to execute him.

In quick order? They did capture him, this is true, but I don't remember anyone saying that caputuring him was quick or easy. Maybe I missed it somewhere. If the Dragonborn doesn't get invovled in the civil war, neither side makes any headway.

The only reason the empire was having so much trouble during the course of the game was because of the dragons! The stormcloaks had to use guerilla warfare to even stand a chance.

I don't know what makes you think that the empire could have won so easily if not for the dragons, but whatever.

I've been fighting with dual bound swords for fun and those make soul trapping a breeze when you have them perked. My gems just fill automatically while doing my thing. No worrying about weapon charges for soul trapping or casting the trap spell.
