I got rid of it by taking Hobd's remains to the top of the lighthouse and placing it in the fire, you'll get Sailor's Repose a permanent 10% increase to Restoration spells.
How did you figure that out? You know, I don't think I even went to the top of the lighthouse.
I think he mentiones in his diary that he would like to be "buried" in his lighthouse fire. Showing sailors the way, even in death.

I kind of wish dragons were harder to kill.
I mean honestly dungeon bosses are harder to beat down than they are.

Skyrim is not really impoverished, it is just being leached of resources by the empire. They control the heavy mining areas and are sending tax revenue to Cyrodiil. They also control the richest agricultural lands.Sylvianus wrote...
1 - Since the Great War and the Civil War, Skyrim had no time to heal from its wounds, to recover health, on the contrary. The situation presented by the NPC, is catastrophic, the trade in Skyrim died, today, years after the great war. A country economically diminished, will be reduced in war. That's not really true. Ulfric knows they need time to prepare. He wanted to be able to do so without Thalmor running around Skyrim. After a Stormcloak victory, he says his first concern is that the Thalmor will attack before they're ready. Obviously the expulsion of Thalmor agents from Skyrim will be first priority. This should be anyway! And Ulfric and its stormcloak showed that they were not prepared to wait. They want to fight Thalmors as soon as possible after the Empire, and their hatred of the Elves is beyond the rational state. Besides, it's funny, when the stormcloak npcs meet the thalmor, they always fight against them ( and they always lose... ) . The war between them is already there, in their country.
That's why they try to weaken the empire and Skyrim, they try to disunite the two allies in a conflict between them because the Empire united is still considered as a threat.
1 - I do not think you understood . Have a potential for wealth and resources does not mean they are exploited. If you are at war all the time, you can not exploit these resources and thus you become poorer. The situation is catastrophic because of the past and current situation that prevents them from enjoying their wealth, resources and thus be better able to lead the next war. Today, they can't; weakened by years of war. Peace is a good thing to rebuild, always. An independent Skyrim under Ulfric is also a threat, as the dossier on Ulfric says.

I thought they were pretty easy, too, until I started getting ancient and named dragons. They can be quite a challenge if you're in a place with no cover. I've had more than one eat me for lunch. If you're in the right situation, though, they are definitely easier than some of the dragon priests.TobiTobsen wrote...

LOL, I've barely even used stealth in this playthrough. I seem to be more about bullying my way around stuff than being patient. The only time I stop is to look up at the sky, and ooh and ahh the light show.
Briar hearts are alchemy ingredients. If you can't sell them, just eat them. or make potions out of them.Addai67 wrote...
I've got a bunch of useless junk in my inventory that's considered quest items so I can't get rid of it. I can't loot a Briar Heart because they just sit there but I have no option to give it to... I forget who needs one, maybe the White Phial guy.

Anyone know when the DLC's for Xbox 360 will be coming out?
I wanna see if we can go to Cyrodill or somewhere exciting since Cyrodill is highly talkable with the townsfolk and in books around. Or at least be able to go to Bravil and/or Imperial City.
That's a coincidence. I just did that quest. I had more luck there with sneaking and a bow than the guy in the clip.RageGT wrote...

A quick, somewhat macabre question: does anyone know where to acquire Human Flesh? I've concocted a very good poison and it's one of the main ingredients, but I can't find much of it in the game (...what? Don't look at me like that! >).
Also, if you're interested in knowing: Imp Stool, Human Flesh, and Mara Tapinella are the ingredients in this particular poison. It continuously damages the target's health while paralyzing them at the same time. If your Alchemy skill is high, it's pretty deadly.
