Well, I finally saw a moonwalking dragon today. It was the only one I've ever seen, and I haven't seen another one since then, so it's no sweat off my back.

It was, however, extremely hilarious. Makes me wonder what the lyrics to Billie Jean would sound like in Dragon tongue.

Well now will have to admit that I've not seen the moon walking dragon as of yet. I did see the headless horsemman.

Is there a quest behind the headless horseman? I saw him too, and followed him, but he just seemed to stop by the side of the road for a while and not do anything, so I left him to it.

To my knowledge there isn't a quest but I could be wrong on this here and just have not come across it as of yet. Of course if there is hopefully someone will let us know

A bit disappointed in the ENB graphics mod for Skyrim. I was hoping it would make it look prettier instead it makes it look oversaturated(no options to tweak it) and it crashes whenever I try to fast travel. But I guess that's why it's only in Beta stage at the moment.

Did have an epic moment just now,did that Old Assassin quest and ended up on the Hag's End balcony, there was a camp of Forsworn below me and I sniped them all with my bow down to the last man(or woman).

The headless horseman if follow him he eventually leads you to something. Occassionally he stops and carries on as follow him which I didn't mind gave me time to catch up since was only on foot and shouting to catch up on and off.

Thanks for the help everyone...noob question...how do I sprint? I know how to use the whirlwind shout and all it has done is fail as I've made it as far as the second gate...I have whats her face Lydia with me...but still that shouldn't matter...I mean I am on autorun....but how do I sprint (PC version)

For those particular gates I had to use the Whirlwind shout twice to get through all three gates.  Fortunately it has a short cooldown, though I was also wearing a Talos amulet which probably helped.  It took numerous tries before I got through.

I had Vorstag wait because I figured out pretty quickly that we weren't both going to make it through.  Then I went back and got him once the gate stayed open.

I think the slow time down shout might also be applicable but never tried using it there myself. Just makes sense could/might be used there if needs be.

I was just reading your post in regards to the Old Assasin quest and started laughing as I just finished that one up myself not to long ago. Sounds like we are in about the same spot when it comes to the Db Quests. And when I came out and seen all the fore sworn I thought great more target practice for my bow and I just sat there picking them off one by one and they didn't even know where I was.Image IPB

Are you doing the TG as well?

The only thing is you don't need the slow time shout there other wise you would have gotten that shout earlier than you do. All you ned is the whirlwind shout to get through that area.

Haha, indeed. Although I finished DB quests a long time ago, this one is optional so I thought why not. When I was shooting at them they did noticed my missed shots and they did run around a bit but never found me. Luckily I have the Zoom/Slow Time Archery Perk so that made it much easier.
I finished the TG quests and that's why I'm wearing the awesome(and retextured)Nightingale Armour. I'm mostly working on Imperial, Companion and Misc.quests now.

I've put up a couple graphics mods and taken them back down.  Maybe I'm just not seeing what other people see, but to me they make things look worse or I notice no change at all.

Can anybody tell me why I can't marry Onmund? The Wiki says you can marry him, but I completed his quest for the amulet and I'm wearing the Amulet of Mara and his dialogue doesn't change. For the record, I killed my last husband because I didn't like him. Is it a bug that's keeping me from re-marrying? Or do I need a new Amulet of Mara?

It's not a bug- you can only marry one NPC.

I wonder how many more husbands would she kill if she could indeed re-marry? The Black Widow!

After enjoying (and coming to love) this game the minute since I installed it, I finally come to the conclusion that I am disappointed in the quests' results. It seems nothing as an affect on the game world no matter what you do.

I actually found this aspect very hit or miss with Skyrim. Sometimes there are glaring ones where you go "wtf react to my actions dammit!" then there are other times where you go "oh cool, that actually happened because of X or Y". For the most part though, even the ones that are acknowledged seem to be mostly small scale stuff, which is fine but I wish it'd be more consistent, especially with quests with the bigger factions/guilds and Daedra.

Like in the Diplomatic Immunity quest, Jarl Ravencrone recognised me and agreed to help me because I was a Thane of her hold. Or the time when I was sent to Cidhe Mine. I got out by killing the Forsworn leader and afterwards everyone was talking about how the Guards were insane to arrest me in the first place (I'm a Thane in Markrath). That was a nice touch and the game is filled with small stuff like that.

It's a massive improvement over Oblivion which had almost none (outside of bark chatter), but still plenty of room for improvement since many of the bigger questlines don't really run with it. Like I've finished the Companion questline and the entire thing's basically been self contained. Would be nice if I could namedrop myself a bit more in conversation (Persuade or Intimidate checks).

The "Help people in Hold" questlines are actually a good way to structure limited reaction and world consequences. Where helping x amount of people gets you closer to Thane status and Jarl's approval.

What would be ideal imo is if there were a counter for failing quests and harming people (killing quest givers, siding against certain NPCs, get caught for stealing, etc) to counter balance the "Help people" tally and racking up enough points got you booted out of the city with a permanent Bounty on your head, meaning you'd have to sneak/invis pot your way around or just don't visit the city altogether. Then, you'd have NPCs in other cities have ambient dialog reflecting that.

That would've been beyond awesome imo.

I think Bethesda could learn from Obsidian in how setup noticeable consequences for actions and quests. Games like New Vegas and Alpha Protocol gave off the impression that everything you did had consequences, minor or not.

I think I found a new favorite follower - Kharjo from one of the Khajiit caravans. We're going through some Dwemer ruins and he's just slaughtering Falmer left and right. Dude's a BAMF. :o

LOL! You guys are the best.

And I actually killed him for two reasons:

1.) He was boring.

2.) I really, really wanted to shout someone off of a cliff.

:D

Well, an Elder Dragon did swoop down on me while I was in Dawnstar - I was trying to give Kharjo his amulet, and that inconsiderate bastard of a dragon interrupted and started blowing fireballs at us.

Damn thing killed my horse while he was at it. Needless to say, I was pissed - so me and the Khajiit caravan pulled that damn dragon out of the sky and opened up a can of whoop-ass on him. He was dead within seconds.

That's what inspired me to take Kharjo on as a follower. I'd have taken the rest of the caravan with me, too - but we would've been way overpowered and taken over half of Tamriel, thus rendering the entire game pointless.
