Wow at 3% though wonder how many times it will actually proc I have it sitting on a weapons rack.
It's just a fight of attrition. It takes less than a minute.

The 'real' fight with Mercer Frey was one of the more cinematic fights in the game for me. (well so far) Something out of an Indiana Jones movie. Fighting on top of a giant statue to gain an ancient treasure, tumbling to the water below as the room began filling.

Falmer helmet is obviously bugged, and will be patched soon probably so i am not using it. I want my character and items to be legit.
And about smithing items - yep that was my bad.
when i wrote 4x items with "fortify enchanting +29%" i meant 4x items with "fortify smithing +29%" because there are no "fortify enchanting" items.

I agree. I have no idea WTF people are complaining about who say it's too short or anti-climactic. I thought it was pretty climactic. I never found Torygg in Sovngarde, though.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Okay finished the main quest....epic is an insult to the sheer power of that ending.
Veleda's game is pretty much done. First playthrough, I estimate around 100 hours.
This is her heavy Nightingale set smithed using a crafting add-on mod. I enchanted it for a battle mage and call it the Black Valkyrie Armor.I always thought mage and rogue armors could be easily interchanged. Yay for mods.
Also loving the sneaky Nord playthrough I'm doing now. It's fun to be able to do all the stealing and ne'er do well quests that I passed by on the last run.

I shouted him off the statue's head and he died instantly. It was kinda anti-climactic.Cutlass Jack wrote...

Of course I'm a pirate, so I'm at the advantage in any fight involving water and treasure.
I now may have to have my Thieves Guild take out the Companions like the whimpering dogs they literally are.

Amen. I may have to try breaking into Jorrvaskr and robbing them blind some time. I wonder if the 'steal equipped items' perk works on them.Cutlass Jack wrote...

Mehrunes' Razor is amazing. The enchantment is so powerful that it's borderline ridiculous.

I will soon install Skyrim. Please say something that would cure my depression over the College questline being so short.
Is it at least nice to be a mage?

Thanks.
Is being a cloth-wearing magic-centered character redundant next to being able to just get every other skill and becoming everything?

That is 3% more than by not wielding it. And after improving it on a wheel, the dagger makes for a fairly keen weapon with 15 or 30 times dmg depending on which gloves one decides to wear. Currently, I am dual-wielding it with an Epic Blade of Woe; seems like an apt pairing.

I wish there was more recognition of one's achievements in the world. In Oblivion, not even the battlemages at the front gate recognised me as the Archmage.

On a second note, is anyone else having their GPU heating to the roof with Skyrim? Every once in a while my RealTemp alarm triggers and shuts down my system because my GPU reached 100 Celsus. It's not always. I had that like 5-6 times in 300 hours and it depends on the effects of the area, I guess. Still with an extra cooler it has got better.

Could you do me a favor and explain how you manged to get your Daedric bow up to over 500 in damage please? I've tried everyting for which I can think of.
I have the following
100 in enchanting Alchemey and smithing I've got 5/5 in all of them for the first one. I've got all the echantments in all of them except for the following
Enchanting-Don't have Soul siphon;; soul squeezer
Smithing-Don't have Elven; Advance, Glass, Dragon
Alchemey-Don't have Green thumb, Poisner, con. Poison
I have created Fortify enchanting potion 30%
potion of Fortify smithing 120%
have the following made wich give me 25% Alchemey and weapon and armor improvement
ring; amulet guntlets
smithing apron 25% imp. weapons & armor
Helmet 25% Alchemey.
Now these are as high as I could get them so far don't know if there is something Im missing or not.
Any help for which you could give me would be appreciated.
You are very close.
but you need the max possible enchantments/potions you can make :
4x items with "fortifyenchantingsmithing +29%"
4x items with "fortify alchemy +29%"
Potions of "fortify smithing + 130%"
Potions of "fortify enchanting +32%"
4x items with "fortify archery +47%"
The tricks is -
* Enchant 4x items with "fortify alchemy"
* You can use those items to make a better "fortify enchanting" potion.
* Then you can use this potion to enchant another 4 items with "fortify alchemy" (stronger this time thanks to that potion)
* Then you can use those new and better enchanted items to make a better "fortify enchanting" potion .....
...
Can you see the pattern now ?
Rinse and repeat but those values i've listed above are max values you can get in the end.
EDIT: Fixed

Well, just finished Blood on the Ice again. 5 minutes and 2 console commands. 1 to remove the Strange Amulet and 2 to add the Necromancer's Amulet which is the actual reward for the quest. I just added to make it right. It's as lame amulet and I wish I could melt it!
But still, it is good to be on PC. Better visuals, Mods and any bugs can be fixed real simple and fast! =)
